Could need money for gas? The power issue was never fully explained.

I would think they could make well over 3 TF movies if they keep it fresh...

Personaly I think they should make a movie from the perquel.... There is already a book about it out and it sounds like it would make an awsome 2nd movie.

I'm not sure how into the Unicron idea I am. Someone on another forum actually made an interesting point that the movie makers may stay away from him for a while, with the Fantastic 4 JUST having a planet devouring entity. Galvatron would definitely be cool though. But absolutely NO Hotrod or death of Optimus. That would just make a glorified version of the '86 movie, and I personally want these to have a basically new storyline.


I definitely want Starscream to come back with Soundwave and the like, considering himself the leader until some with Megatron happens, and it's very likely. To have the Seekers be identified as such would be cool. I wouldn't mind Arcee but she would have to be handled right, making her into "the chick" autobot and nothing else won't work. I think Prowl would be an interesting inclusion, especially if Barricade somehow ends up still being around, Good cop vs. Bad cop I guess. Sunstreaker and Sideswipe could be fun as well.

One thing that is inevitable as much as we all hate it is the human factor. I can assure you that Sam and Mikela will not be the only human story. Even if there is less human activity in the sequel, there will still be a good amount. The first one was basically about Sam. Bay considered it "boy and his car".

My idea of how Grimlock can be introduced...

Flashback:

Knowing Allspark fell to Earth, several pods, 4 or 5, were ordered launched by Prime. These pods contains some of the toughest autobot protoforms, with the expectation that they may have to face Megatron on Earth. So the race is on to find Allspark.
Autobot protoforms fell on primitive Earth, where dinosaurs are the only mobile living creatures. Protoforms scan dinosaur forms and are morphed into Grimlock, Slag, etc. But they cannot locate the Allspark.
After a while, Megatron came crashing into Earth, but his telemetry was screwed up in the north pole. So he crash landed and entered stasis mode.
Meanwhile, Dinobots, scattered across other parts of North American continent, sensed or seen Megatron's entry into the north pole, and began racing towards the location. But as they started to do so, a catastrophic earthquake caused by a large meteor hitting Earth, shook the continent, burrying and deactivating the Dinobots, sending them into stasis mode.

Present time:

After Megatron was defeated in Movie #1, Optimus Prime sends out a message to the other Autobots hiding among the stars. Ratchet can build some sort of communication device or station to send out a stronger signal.
Anyhow, the signal triggered and reactivated Grimlock, being burried shallower than the other Dinobots. Grimlock isn't really dumb or lacking in communication skills. His past experience with the growls of primitive Earth lifeforms makes him disinterested in seriously learning Earth modern languages. Preferring to speak cybertronian, of which he is fluent, and occasionally mimicks the dinosaur growl that he became accustomed to. Surprised at how Earth creatures evolved into such small mammals, Grimlock prefers to remain in his intimidating gigantic dinosaur alt mode.
Bay may choose to later on lead the Autobots to discover and activate a number of other dinobots (not necessarily all), depending on what the script requires. These Dinobots may arrive just in the nick of time, as Prime, Grimlock et al, were being pounded mercilessly by Decepticons, thus saving the day.

i think in the 3rd tf movie they should have some pretender tfs that could blend in with humans

No Hot Shot or Hot Rod. Ok maybe Hot Rod but definitely no Hot Shot. If you want some cool cars bring in Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. I don't think anyone has mentioned them.

Hot Rod, I'm sorry to say, has been done to death, and reborn so he could be done to death all over again. And he was never really an interesting character to begin with.

My idea for TF2...

Starscream takes over as leader of the Decepticons. Commands an army of new Decepticons to exterminate the Autobots while Prime and co. get reinforcements in the form of Grimlock, Arcee and others...

Starscream discovers the existence of Energon on Earth, and seeks to exploit it in the hopes of building a new Allspark. He succeeds, revives Megatron by accident. Megs is pissed that Starscream failed to retrieve the Allspark the first time around, and learns from Barricade (who we presume survives movie #1) that Starscream fled after the battle, so... he... kills him, I guess. Why not?

Why do the Decepticons need money

it's part of their plan, which is to take away almost ALL of what the humans need to survive, money among them, then keep it until society deteriorates enough that the humans will be desparate enough to meet the Decepticons demands.

I agree...I wouldn't want to see Hot Shot or Hot Rod...though I don't mind HR, HS is too new of a character and each would really only be added so we could have another "cool" car/character when we already have BB

Sunstreaker/Sideswipe are both great characters who could have nifty alt modes...and then again, let's not forget Tracks

I do think we need another cool car or two in the Autobot camp as they've been typically automobiles. With the passing of jazz, BB is the only remaining car...the brothers or a couple of others (Wheeljack, Mirage, Prowl) would be a fun treat for us all.

As for Megs...I say keep him out until the 3rd movie...perhaps make a cameo at the end after SS screws up, but we don't necessarily need him in the movie...that could be something that SW does at some point in the movie...bring back Megs...while the big battle would be with Devastator, SS, and the other Seekers with lesser characters...maybe someone like Rukus or Iguanas

Unicron is too cartoonish for the movies. Unless by Unicron, you mean NOT A PLANET... Maybe Unicron is a first generation cybertronian who becomes the aircraft carrier.

Just realize that you all would be highly disappointed if all these characters came into the second movie, because only a handful would ever get face time. Yeah we , the hardcore fans would have geekasms for seeing our favorite characters all over the place the but the average movie go'ers would get up and walk out citing that they have no idea whats going

If I was Bay, i'd be fine with bringing in that large amount of new characters that all of you want but they would be cannon fodder, and early and often at that. Slude, Snarl and Slag wouldnt survive 5 minutes as Soundwave and starscream should destroy them right after they awaken. and such like that. But that many characters who survive at the end of the movie who you didnt touch upon is just asking to piss off almost everyone... Because you are asking, who were those autobots and decepticons..


I still think the best way is to introduce only a few each movie that way you have more characters to introduce in the 3rd movie and beyond. Shoot your load now and you have nothing left for later..

Considering how many great new ideas can come from a Transformers Movie franchise, I really don't think they should try to touch on any plot elements from the 1986 movie. Seriously, there are so many more original things that could happen in the next two films.

On another note I'm a pretty new fan, and therefore wouldn't consider myself hardcore at all. Maybe that's why I don't think they should introduce the Quintesons as the creators of the Allspark in future films. I'm sure I'll be a minority, but I think it would be much more interesting (if they did decide to explore the creation of the Allspark) for it to be a completely new alien race. Since the creation of Cybertron is so much different in this version of Transformers from the cartoon series, it would make more sense not to force the original series origins into the storyline. But again this is just coming from someone who recently became interested in Transformers again. A fresh take if you will.

I do hope Megatron gets an earth disguise. Whether he remains as Megatron or gets reformatted to Galvatron. The cybertronian jet thing is really lame.

(Granted Megs didn't have the time to scan a suitable disguise, being frozen in stasis as he arrives... He should have automatically scanned for one when he was reactivated and flew out of the dam. Just as Prime and company have done so when they arrived.)

If there is anything dealing with the "origin"of the Allspark, and the creation of the Transformers, it should be Primus, though don't ever show him. Mentioning the name in passing or as background is as far as it should go.

As for Galvatron? Absolutely not. Megatron didn't have enough screen time to be fully fleshed out enough to begin with. When he returns, it needs to be as "Megatron". Give him an Earth mode though. I would love to see Soundwave, full Mass conversion and all, transforming into a really big, seriously decked out Bportable stereo with CD changers and DVD player buit in, much larger than Frenzy was. The Dinobots, particularly Grimlock with robotic T-rex alt mode is a must as well. They already proved a beast mech will work with Scorponok, so i know they can pull of a robot T-rex. Arcee and some other fems would be cool too, but not as motorcycles. Make them cars.

i have an idea.

The Decepticons mourn over the death of Megatron. So in his place, the decepticons retrieve megatron's remains and rebuild him into galvatron with purple colors. he then re-awakens to see that he has risen. so he plans an all-out invasion against the autobots on earth. with that, he creates the constructicons. meanwhile on earth, the autobots celebrate because sam and mikaela get married. the autobots then get a threatening message from soundwave about what their plan is. so, the autobots create dinobots after having frequent ancient history lessons. btw, jazz gets rebuilt into his pontiac solstice with racer colors and hydraulics. then soundwave sends an ultrasonic vibration throughout earth and shuts down communications for a week. all cell phones and other communicators(IM, e-mail, pagers, etc.) break down.

Secondly, having them the creations of thw Quintessans just doesn't fit. We already know that they were the "children" of the Allspark. If anything more needs to be revealed about the Allspark and its creation, it should be that it is the Spark of Primus; his creation, and the Transformers are his children, not former slaves of the Quintessans.

Right right. See the thing is R-Burst we are TF fans, so we know who was who. But the newbies will ask a lot of questions. The names should have been mentioned more. Megatron, Prime and Bumblebee got mentioned in the movie. Ironhide, Jazz & Ratchet were introduced, but if you missed that, you don't know who is who. I have not been into TF sinse 88. The new movie has me interested again.

No one has mentioned Hound yet; I'd like to see a movie version of him. I personally think that Arcee would be cool.

As far as Decepticons go, I'd love to see Soundwave and maybe another Seeker, and a resurrected Megatron. He doesn't need to be Galvatron yet, in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the Galvatron design, and we didn't get to see enough Megs in the first movie anyway. One thing I liked about the movie was that each Decepticon was pretty unique; we had an Earth jet, a Cybertronian jet, a boombox, a tank, a robot scorpion, a helicopter, a construction vehicle, and a police cruiser. I don't want to see an army of jets in the next movie, so I think having two seekers will be plenty.

The main thing I want from this movie is for the audience to get a feel for who these robots are, and for them to have defining character traits. We really didn't get that in the first movie, at least not with the Decepticons.
