Why does stasis lock take so long? There's no point to having to wait forever to go right back into battle or even spend experience points.

The last 10 missions or so, each of my guys was last on the list of winners or losers... either way, they either got the minimum for being on the winning side or zero.

I'm starting to get paranoid.
