Yes!! The modern, chibi-fied Prime Masters (PRETENDERS!) will fit in perfectly. I'm really looking forward to them as well - we will be able to get this version of Metalhawk for super cheap, too.

I thought about going down the MicroMasters rabbit hole, but I'll just wait for Power of the Primes -- and a decently priced G1 Bludgeon.

Titans Return and the Pretenders continue to inspire...And I really can't wait to receive Thunderwing! The seller sent more pics today.Great condition, save for a little rust -- any suggestions for that, vintage fans? Or should I plan to unscrew and clean/replace?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Stuartmaximus! Considering Grimlock's popularity, I certainly wouldn't rule it out -- maybe as some exclusive, that could include the other Classic Pretenders?

I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see some or all of the Classic Pretender shells in the Prime Master class, honestly. Albeit with their design changed slightly to take out the human faces, ala Cloudburst.

Bodrock, I don't think that rusty screw will pose a problem. It should be easy to replace because it's not into the dreadful gold plastic. It also look like a standard screw and a standard washer. It will most certainly be a METRIC screw however. So make sure the replacement screw is the exact same.

A fan-favorite has already been leaked, plus we're almost certain to get the complete first wave (aka the Masterforce anime bunch). In fact, we only have 3 empty slots as of this moment, who knows who Hasbro/TakaraTomy will pick?

Ones I wanna see:
-Bugly
-Pincher
-Doubleheader(!!)

Of course, if I scored G1 Bugly and Bludgeon, I might skip their respective PM.....unless dat Matrix Face (?) looks too cool.

I just transformed Carnivac's inner bot into bot mode. JFC, that robot look like a radioactive abortion straight out of Chernobyl! At least, the shell and the inner bot's beast modes are awesome enough to counter this flaw.

No doubt, Kanra -- Carnivac only looks good in-shell or as li'l wolfie.

I was pretty pleased with how Thunderwing's inner self looked, though!

Thunderwing's inner bot is like a Mini-Me.

I absolutely agree! He's my favorite innerbot of the bunch. My favorite shell is probably....Roadblock. Or Bomb-burst. Or Thunderwing!

I can't help but wonder if they would consider making cassettes? Kids today probably don't know what those even are.

Good point, Jack! My 4 y/o son saw my old boombox in the garage and asked me what the tape deck was -- I explained what tapes were, I told him to press the Stop/Eject button. An unlabeled, old cassette was in there!

After talking about favorites, I had to take pictures.
I wanted to have a Pretender lineup from all sub-groups; this didn't quite do it for me, but it was interesting to note the differences.
