Ok, whoever's got the low down on this, spill. I'd like to find out why, despite a marginal difference in Courage, RoS manages to always bogart all the xp. And also why in a big confrontation it's always the grunts that get targeted first.

I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining this, and it's there but not well known and not fully spaded.

It`s just the RNG, luck and also the stats that cause ROS to get all the xp with his stats in strength he does more damage. With his speed, endurance, and rank he gets hit less often and receives less damage so he sticks around longer in missions. Courage increases his attack frequency so he lands more hits than other bots with less courage.

As for the lower level bots being targeted, Intelligence is the only stat that makes you target another bot based on their stats like high speed and stuff like that, but it`s probably Higher level cons getting a good hit on you coupled with bad luck.

Eh, not really. An urban legend and pointing out the obvious aren't exactly what I was going for.

You don't notice it, but he literally sucks actions from you. It's like he pushes you aside and goes "ME ME ME AGAIN".

Does the determining factor of "who gets to attack" get influenced by a variable of "instead of *charactername*, the character with CRG x (Level x 1.5) acts" 50% of the time? :-B

He's a higher level. You're not.

He has higher courage. He has higher speed. He has higher everything. So yes, he's going to outperform you.

He also has a bigger car, and a bigger house, and a bigger ego. But all that, in game and out, must be compensating for something... So at least the rest of us have one thing bigger than his!

I mean, look at a random Hell Unleashed. All the low level guys get hit before NV and RoS even get targeted.

Does being at a high level get you anything, regardless of stats/build?

Clearly it gets you victory.

And of course lower levels are going to get wiped out quickly in a 1-11. They have no speed to dodge/avoid and no courage to go on the attack compared to a higher level. But people still join for the thrill of scraping the armour of a higher level.

Yup... Scraping armour still can net a lower level around 2000 to 4000 xp for a lucky hit. And remember, the people who have the highest levels right now didn't have the opportunities to hit higher level players back when they themselves were at level 2 - 3... So count yourself lucky that these high level guys now provide incidental xp 'bombs', even if they do pound you after you've damaged their paint.

A good thing i found to get a good XP, when in a RoS mission is to put in a repairer.

so when you repair him you get repair % x his bots level
plus what burn said, he just has alot more stats
