Isn't there a 90 something year old dude who collects TFs? Maybe you should ask him if you're to old. :P

Don't feel guilty because friends or family shames you. If you want to buy it then buy it. If anyone has a problem with it then it is their problem not yours.

I'm 23 and I don't think your ever to old for anything really. It would be like collecting models of different stuff like cars or jets, the only difference is they transform into robots. Your only to old for something that you think you are to old for. My motto is: Why should I have to change what I like just because I get older?
We are so much more then mere machines, intelligent robots who think and feel. Yet, we have fell to greed and destruction by our own causes! From this moment I stand my own ground, on my own faction to achieve true unity! :CON:

You're probably thinking of the 90-something year old senior who bought a Chevrolet Camaro in Movie Bumblebee's likeness. Love him already.

Nope that guy bought it because he thought it was the nicest version of the car, I'm talking about an actual fan and collector who also visits a message board, someone mentioned him a while back.

Ah! Another who is right there with me!

I am also 40, and a born-again collector (I stopped collecting in 1990 the first time and restarted again in 07). Once you get this old, you do not have to justify buying ANYTHING to anyone anymore. If you earn the money and pay your way through life, you have earned the right to buy whatever you wish to. :)

Never too old...EVER. Why let others decide what you should do with your cash? I've got G1 and ROTF sitting on a shelf together. I still transform them, admire them, reminisce, etc. I've got a huge spot in my heart reserved just for Transformers. Always will. They are just too dang cool. I'm 25, a successful aircraft mechanic, a professional....a professional kid. lmao
Does being an aircraft mechanic make me better at Transforming these things? Sadly, no.

You're never too old. I'm 28 and I've been collecting TFs and Star Wars for years.

On our first date, my 31-year-old girlfriend requested we watch Transformers because she hadn't seen it (knew she was a keeper right then and there!). Since then she's been collecting Bumblebee, any female character she can find, and large characters... she's particularly fond of her Primus, Unicron and Masterpiece Black Convoy.

So yeah, if you like it, go for it :D

Wow, I thought only hardcore fans came to this site.

I'm not gonna let a silly little thing like mortality stop me from collecting TFs. I just hope BBTS does charge extra for delivering to the 3rd circle of hell. And I'm sure they've got a Walmart down there. Everywhere has a Walmart.

I bought Voyage Class Blaster for myself for Christmas last year, then I broke down and bought Masterpiece Skywarp - he was on clearance and I just couldn't say no. I havn't taken them out of the box yet, but I predict that will happen eventually. I don't buy the toy unless I really like the character. Next up will be Drift.

I'm 38 - my hubby says that lately, it's like living with a 16 year old boy. Hmmm...

I have to agree with everyone else on here: you're never too old as long as you enjoy it. "Too old" always seemed to be more something my parents told me when I liked something they didn't like or understand, like comics and Transformers. Now, I'm in my upper 30s, and still enjoy both
