You mean besides the 4 different paint variants that already exist?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
It would be Hasbro trolling at its best.Dead Metal wrote:By the way, that post about it being a Metroplex repaint wasn't serious, it was a joke.

and ah ... reissue Trypticon? That's a surprise.

His supplier is his source, who saw these at a Hasbro Asia showroom.
I'm guessing it was "no pics allowed" event.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:He's the guy who first posted about the first waves of Movie Advanced Series toys like Dispensor.MemphisR56 wrote:Who's this CATZ chap? He own a small distributor?

No pics from that event?

Here are the notes he took down after talking with his supplier."Just got great news(regarding Generations Devastator) from my supplier:

CATZ has proven to be a reliable source in the past as it was he who first posted about the first waves of Movie Advanced Series toys like Dispensor.
This seems to answer a lot of questions people have been asking recently, although Hasbro has yet to make an official announcement. So remember, Keep calm and discuss in the Energon Pub Forum!

Blozor wrote:Still would like a Trypticon that could stand toe-to-toe with Generations Metroplex, not be kicked around by him. Wishful thinking, I know, but I've always liked Trypticon and would love an updated version. Besides, I still have the original G1 Trypticon, so the reissue will be a pass for me, too. Unfortunatelt, if they reissue him with an insane price point amd he doesn't sell, Hasbro will interpret that as lack of interest and use it as justification to not pursue a costly new mold after Metroplex reportedly generated a "Meh" response.

The more info I hear about this new Devastator, the more I think its going to be a huge stand alone plastic pile of suck.
Bouncy X wrote:gonna wait for photos etc... but i admit the thought of a giant G1 Devastator is very tempting. not that i have room for that and i'm sure it'll be mighty expensive but i guess its the 1984 version of me inside that would want it.
never had the original toys for him and i'm a sucker for G1, so while i don't have that big a collection, sometimes i see one i just gotta have. (last time being Masterpiece Soundwave)
ironically i do have the original G1 Metroplex (still mint in box because i didn't play with him a lot back in the day) but never got the new one.
Rodimus Minor wrote:Well if he is as Big as I think I will need to make some room for this behemoth, Now show me Some pics ASAP
