As for this one. I think I'm going to paint the purple crest, as while it's accurate to the Japanese version, the Marvel Comics version is the one I take this figure to be.
It's actually only accurate to one or two pieces of Japanese art. Most other JG1 depictions of Galvatron II feature toy-accurate gray horns.

Still, I actually kinda like the purple horns, inaccurate or not. I feel they add a nice bit of color contrast to an otherwise rather plain-looking deco.

It doesn't look bad, it just doesn't match the vision in my head.

I have corrected a mistake I made

He goes great with my Dr Wu Sqwalkbox. I originally got those 2 little guys because no one else is making them and they can fit in the double cassette chest.

As for soundblaster, he is really cool. I still cherish my FOC one, but this one has the Merc Badge and I like it a lot. Thank you cyberverse for making me jump on this, mine will use your characterization

Took Artfire to work today, and he is really nice, he and Nightstick both. Nightstick was deformed and is missing a barrel, but I think that makes it more accurate so I have no issues with it. they are a great pair

the rubsign is preapplied to the figure, not on the sticker sheet, though it is a sticker materialwise.

Hm, well that's unfortunate. Was hoping it wasn't factory applied and that I could potentially transfer it to a custom, but oh well, there's always Reprolabels. Still probably gonna get him regardless :lol:

ok, so Galvatron has shipped from Pulse (from what I've seen here, I didn't actually order one). Has anyone got Artfire from Pulse yet? I got mine from gamestop a couple weeks ago so I cancelled my pulse pre-order (website still says delayed to 01/15/22).

My main concern is Black Zarak. The current estimated shipping date is 1/1/22. being the first Legacy Selects, I would love for this to actually be paid for prior to end of year, and be done with it. I would also think Hasbro would love to collect that large pre-order amount, as it would make their 2021 end of year earnings look a bit better. However I guess it all depends on when it ships. As we have seen, some things are coming early (Golden Disc collection), whereas others are delayed. If BZ is to be delayed, I know we wont get a notice until maybe 3-4 days before. Whereas if it comes in early, that could ruin a LOT of peoples holiday spending plans. Not me personally, but others I know wouldn't necessarily be thrilled.

I cancelled my Artfire preorder for Gamestop.

As for Black Zarak, I anticipate he will arrive on time at the beginning of January. Gamestop is about to start shipping him this week, and they have been 1-2 months ahead of Pulse consistently this fall. I have been buying a lot from them and cancelling Pulse preorders

The only way for me to have Artfire at a reasonable price is to get it from Age 3 & Up for 50$CAN plus taxes and shipping. That's a wee bit too pricey for just a voyager.

I thought seeing Artfire at GameStop was one of those rare miracles. If there is any chance I see a BZ in store at GameStop before the end of December, that could be potentially very bad for my wallet, and another sale Pulse loses.

Pulse always ships preorders on their own, they never wait for the whole order to come in.

That's not how it works. They ship items when they come, not orders.

I actually did the same thing. I think I bundled Artfire with Transmutate, which I got a few months ago, in order to get free shipping. But once Artfire was available at a local Gamestop, and for less than what I paid on Pulse, it was an easy decision, then just cancelled the rest of my Pulse order.

I haven't heard of any BZ sightings yet, although as someone else said, it is supposed to ship this week from GameStop, and it is still available to Pre-Order on their site. I'll probably just do the same thing I did with Artfire, and call in to the same store that had it. There are multiple GameStop stores near me, but now I know, some carry a LOT of toys, and some don't carry hardly any. I know which are the good ones ;)^

There's a pic floating around that maaay be a Selects Buzzsaw, considering it certainly looks legit and JTPrime mentioned earlier on this thread that one allegedly exists from word-of-mouth sources and they just haven't seen a listing yet.

At first glance I went "Black wings? That's weird", but considering Waspinator's light-piped bot eyes, wings, and bug eyes all use the same plastic, and this guy definitely has dark green bug eyes, I think the wings are also green like the original and that's just bad lighting & posing for them.
