Guess I haven't watched G1 in a long time to remember/notice that. I also just learned it's intentional due to if you are flying in a squadron of Jets you want to identify who is on your team when you are flying above/beside them. That's why the logo is facing the way it does in jet mode and why it's upside down in robot mode. Regardless I still prefer having the logo not upside down in robot mode myself. It also seems like some toys and media can't decide whether the logo should be right side up or upside down. Ha, ha.

EB Games pre-order
For the low low price of $50 ... you can place a deposit and pre-order him, then come 30 June 2021 you can take him for an extra $459! Just run up your credit card, then submit your tax return the next week and take full advantage of ScoMo's tax cuts! *BOOM*
P.S. **** you TakaraTomy for pricing so many of us out of the MP market.
Wow.
If Amazon.JP ship to Australia (and it would be surprising if they wouldn't) just order from them when the listing go live. Unless some American store pull a Target, it will be the best price.

Not surprising. G1 Cartoon Starscream wasn't exactly written to be more than a one-trick-pony who was about as subtle as a brick.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Weird thing is, I am really liking how this toy looks, and I am now debating pre-ordering him based on his looks rather than as him as a character

What about Cybertron and Animated? Those series at least had the common sense to make him legitimately ambitious while also smart enough to keep his treachery to himself until the right moment to strike. And when he was found out in both, he struck out on his own to certain degrees of success and never came crawling back to Megatron to futilely beg for forgiveness.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Not surprising. Starscream for the most part is one of my least favorite and most overused transformers, but this toy looks pretty great. I hear what he was supposed to be, but outside of his Prime/RiD2015 incarnation and maybe his Armada one, he feels overused and just not good.

But what if G1 Starscream were to be officially FEMALE, like the confused French dubbers of the 1986 movie did?
Shameless self-promotion.mp4

Thanks for this.I was wondering what theface was for.

I can think of another application or two.

Anyway, they've clearly put a lot of effort into this MP, design-wise. Is there anyone aside from the other Seekers that could, if not share the mold, adapt some of the engineering? Blitzwing or Powerglide, for example?

I can't even begin to guess how they'll adapt the Coneheads to this mold (or vice versa) considering how the wing storage works and two of those guys having full length wings which would require the rear of the jets to be altered somehow.

But they won't.
