There's really only one way to transform the Classic Seeker. It's the first time I encountered the problem.
I look at the parts again, closer, and with better lighting. It's very hard to see but the movement jam right at the top pin of the bar. As if the pin is just some thousandth of an inch too long and it stick out barely from both sides.
Tomorrow I'll dissemble the thing, sand down the pin, then re-assemble everything and see how it goes.
EDIT:Turns out my pin theory was wrong and it was the cavity inside the cockpit that was too small. So I Dremelled away where it will be the less appearent, meaning the bar. Then I used some Sharpie to hide the scar as best as possible.

It work!

But then, the chest panel still won't close completely because something gets in the way. I will not pry further. That's close enough. It's still frustrating that such a beautiful seeker that cost me more than a leader class Transformers, suffer from mold degradation this much.
