It is weird, thinking back to the pre-Internet days of the Beast Era. When my TM Megs' leg fell off, literally just slid off the pin in the hip and just wouldn't go back. I had assumed it was just the luck of the QA draw. Oddly enough the same thing had happened with my Bat Primal, with one of his arms.
It is only now, reading shared tales, I realised my issues were not in isolation. I've even seen other pictures online of other Bat Primals, all missing the same right arm. It is wild.
Although, aside from Bat Primal, TM Megatron and Rampage (left leg, from the knee), I never had breakage issues with anyone else.

Funny enough, when i got my Bat Primal a few weeks ago, he was missing his right arm. I've thankfully since got one to put on him, but I didn't know that was a more common thing either.

I started collecting TFs in early 2007 so I wasn't around for the initial run of BW, but I became interested in them after buying the Megs/Primal 10th anniversary two pack. It was very easy even then to get the ones I wanted on eBay for excellent prices. It really is remarkable how well a lot of them have held up as far as design quality and articulation over the years. Anyway, here is my Beast Era shelf. Apologies for the low quality images. My TFs shelf is actually in a closet so the lighting isn't the best; especially at night when these were taken.

Super sweet collection! And I see a BWII Magnaboss, nice!!
I really want to see a new Silverbolt and Tigerhawk with increase articulation. Those 2 are my favorites and I wish Silverbolt could move a bit more and put his wings in the right place, and I wish Tigerhawk could move more too. they are both so good, but could really use a little bit more

Well I'd also love them to try more Combiners like that, though Rail Racer was the perfection of that but I think he had an advantage in what his alt was compared to beast alts

Two was enough for Beast Wars, I think. They both reflected the general alt-mode motif of each side in the base wave. Clearly Tripredacus was just better thought out, in both individual and gestalt design.

I liked the conceptual parallel to G1 also. In the base wave you had Gestalts. Transmetals escalated to Triple Changers and TM 2 was upgraded/futuristic versions of the first line.

I've never thought about it in terms like that but it's a bit off as afterall, you had gesalts till the very end and triple changers appeared from the get go with the ones that appeared in Diaclone (and preceptor technically. Still I loved the approach they made to Combiners, and I remember looking at them in the Argos catalogue trying to work out how they combined.

The winning design from a contest held at the time by Comic Bom Bom. Never appeared in Bot Mode (in the cartoon, although he did cameo) and no toy exists [as told by the Wiki].

Technically Transquito and B'Boom are considered Year 2 (Year 1 was rather short, only 1 or 2 waves) so not quite from the get go. They did debut in the same year as Magnaboss and Tripredacus.

It's because of the arm posture; they hold their arms like a boxer squaring up. And boxing kangaroos are A Thing in Japanese media.

I too would have loved a Beast Wars Kangaroo. Neo went nuts with some of the animals used and i still want more animals to be represented in the Beast era

Yeah, his arms are a bit too loose with those giant shells hanging off him, and the articulation in the arms bug me some. But also the rest are just that good and interesting.

I agree with this, the only reason he isn't #1 is because Hardhead is so juicy in colors and so much fun to transform.

So here is a fun story for y'all.

With all the storms last week, I lost power Thursday thanks to a tree and didn't get it back until 2Am. So with a dying phone (Power went out at 645pm), I needed an alarm clock. And guess who just so happens to have a clock in his chest that is also an alarm clock?

I have now excitedly told people that one of my Transformers has served a truly useful and practical function. My GF's response: well good, there is one you can keep, you can get rid of the rest
