Video Clip of Transformers "Animated" Series in Action!

Discuss anything about the Transformers cartoons and comics! You can discuss anything from G1 to Cybertron as well as the comics from Marvel, Dreamwave, IDW and more!

Looks alright, but I'm already hating the little human girl. I still think the animation could do so much better, especially Prime just doesn't look right, but I think it's going to be ok in the end. Hopefully a decent story line for kids and everyone else. I'm so happy Starscream has a good face, and more happy that none of them, except for Bumblebee, look like they were in the live movie.

The Animated looks interesting, I'm still not sure on the style though. but the Transformation Sequences Aren't bad.

BTW, anybody know who this guy is:
He reminds me if Cybertron Downshift.

Dose anybody understand what they are saying in the theme? I Recognize The parts that were in the G1 Theme.

Weapon: Diffraction Sword
Alright, i'm impressed. I do think the animation style comes off as a bit childish at times, but i expected that, considering this has always been a kids' franchise. I'm loving the fact that some of the characters, particularly Arcee, Megs, and Starscream are clearly reminiscent of their G1 counterparts. Best thing about this clip though is Tom Kenny's Starscream. He nails it. Only Chris Latta's clone could do it any better. I'm thrilled.

Whoa, holy mother I think it looks pretty awesome. I just hope the writing's good. And moreso than the Dinobots, it was Starscream's voice that sold me. The audience reaction was great, I felt the same way. I'm a slave to that mean back-stabby little son of a--I mean... seeker. Spongestar Screampants.

confirms what i feared. i **** hate that style and it'd be a travasty to waste good scripts on it.

and kids! WTF is the obsession with sticking kids in these things? its just **** dumb! if you have to have humans they should be at least teenagers who have a good reason to be hanging around with cars or military types after them for technology "threat to the nation" types not bleeding junior infants types.

i really had hopes for the first american TF show in decades. what a **** waste

Anyone wanna take bets on how long it takes for a character to get a tear-drop slide down the side of their head? :)

Or maybe oversized googly eyes.

I believe the target audience, is 6-11 year olds. So, let's put a 6-11 year old instead of a 16 year old in, ok?

I heard:

Autobots wage their battle to destroy
The evil forces of
The Decepticons.

It's just a remix of the old show theme.

One is "More than they appear" and the other one that plays while Prowl is on screen is too difficult to make out. :-?

Can't make out the third line of the second 'verse', even after playing around with the EQ and removing background noise. I hear:
Transformers
More than meets the eye
Transformers
Robots in disguise
Autobots wage their battle to destroy
(The) evil forces of
The Decepticons

Transformers (Hahahaha!)
More than they appear
Transformers
??Travelling [??? ??] years??
Autobots wage their battle to destroy
(The) evil forces of
The Decepticons

Transformers...
Transformers!

Right now I'm hearing "Nothing slows them down" :?

After a few listens I am fairly sure that is it.

I'm figuring it'll rhyme with 'appear', whatever it is. I can catch the rhythm of it, just can't quite make out the actual syllables.

This show is going to be great. This is going to be the first true Transformers show since Beast Wars. The theme song, the transformation sound effect, Bumblebee, Starscream's voice, the dinobots and Arcee make me very, very happy. I had my doubts, but this really looks awesome. I liked the movie and all, but this is the first Transformers show to be completely true to its roots since... G1.

I only have one major gripe: Optimus Prime's voice. WTF. He sounds like the voice would have been better suited to Rodimus Prime. Oh well, can't win 'em all. If Peter Cullen did his voice in this show, my head would have exploded out of fanboy joy.

Well alright...

I am really feeling this, one of the complaints I had about the cgi series were that they were so stiff and the action was as well... I like this though! I loved how the crowd popped for Grimlock, Arcee, and Starscream, looks good to me.

Just a quote from tfw2005's dead end i really agree with him 100%

Style does not denote age. And from the intricacies shown here, the back log of info put into this shows an adherance to all walks of age. A good writer does not need to resort to gritty shock value to be 'adult.'

Titans had a rape episode among other adult nods, Animaniacs was full of adult humor, and even Foster's or JLU had pure adult implied moments.

Which of those is a direct 'adult' toon not aimed at kids?
Yet are still highly entertaining to adults, while having adult stories within the context of what looks like a simplistic 'child's story'.

It looks great, really. I can't wait at all now.

As long as it's not a religious novel for television... you know, I'm all for it.
