I’d hope we get Thrust or even Nacelle in this line before another vanilla seeker re-use. Also Dirge in some non-nigh-impossible to get way would be nice.

Depends on who you ask. There are some who have "Sunstorm-fatigue", besides Siege Nova Storm makes a decent stand-in.

Fatigue? From what? He has 4 or 5 figures across 20 years. (I'm just guessing, he might have 6 or 7.)

Siege Nova Storm is nice, but I would love a proper Sunstorm in the ER mold, that's what his body type was to begin with.

Well it's still fewer than all the other seekers, except maybe the ones from the Siege 3-pack. And his color isn't straight-up yellow, it does have the orange tint. Kinda like the new Jazz just not as garish. I'm glad Hauler got a figure, but it shouldn't have been a choice between those 2.

I really would like to see a new release of Sunstorm. I never got toe Botcon release, and would like the new seeker mold to be used on him before its all used up!

The only member of this collection that really catches my interest is Toxitron himself, who I did pre-order. I had written off the idea of this capsule being all G2 considering both Legacy capsules before now made points of including no less than 4 continuities in it, and Toxitron isn't G2, but I guess he is now and that precedent is broken, sure. I did call it regarding G2 Grim being the tiger-stripe deco though.

It is still weird that they only revealed 3/8 of the figures at once though, since every piece of evidence we have says it's all one wave (the initial listings leak, the current case breakdown Robot Kingdom has for this, the fact that JTPrime says it's one wave and that both Leaders are hitting US ports currently).

My 2 cents on Sunstorm: yes he is still needed, he needs to be from the Tetrajet mold to match Hotlink and all the other Cybertron-only G1 Seeker extras (and because that mold is just better than the ER one), and no Nova Storm is not acceptable as a stand-in, Sunstorm is supposed to be orange not yellow. My current hopes is that him and Bitstream are gonna show up in Buzzworthy somewhere, since their only cartoon appearance was in that G1 pilot episode and thusly they would work as companion pieces for Origins Bee & Jazz.

Back when Hasbro revealed the Walmart exclusive line of cancelled "G2" redecos, they gave us Grimlock's art instead of Toxitron's. So, we never got to actually see the box art for Toxitron... until now. In Demand Toys will be getting these toys in the UK and have the correct neon filled box art in their listing. Let us know what you think!

And I agree about the purple tires, they completely ruin the vibe. If I do get the figure, those are getting painted black immediately.

As for G2 Grimlock, he better have his "Big Grim" shoulder tat .

Whatever the reason, it doesn't work for him. Yes, I know he has a lot of purple and neon green parts anyway, but for some reason the tires are an eyesore for me. If the wheels had been purple and the tires black, that would've been fine. This way he looks like a psychedelic clown car, and not in a good way like Crosscut.

Am I the only one that likes the purple tires then? I don't like the red tires on Crosscut because he's just a normal car, but for Toxitron, who's anything but normal, I think the purple tires really suit his craziness.

I actually did this with 2 titan packages without the laminate (good tip by the way).
My Mancave is turning into a true geek command center.

You're not alone.
The red tires on X-Cut are weird, but the purple tires on Toxitron works perfectly. All black wheels would look too "normal" on him and may even become "invisible". In purple, they POP.

What would be even cooler looking for the wheels is to have a mix of purple and black. Keep the gang molded purple on the outside, black on the inside (the surface where the tires would actually touch the ground).

Maybe some Reprolabels or a quick custom paintjob will fix that.
