Just got the damn e-mail from Fartmart that they "are having problems locating Swerve" If they can not deliver the item by Sat Sept 1st, they will cancel the order and refund the money.

Don't you think that it's a bit presumptuous that they think, that I think, that if it can't be delivered on time I don't want it? I never said that.

I don't understand their wording, or their logic.

Oh wait! It's Walmart. I guess I'm being presumptuous thinking they prescribe to logic. SILLY ME! 8-}

Just got the same email for Tailgate. My account does show Starscream has shipped though.

My Bumblebee is preparing to ship, so I'm excited about that! I ordered devastator yesterday morning, and the bar was filled a bit more than my Swerve was and said preparing order. Well, the bar went back to being less filled, but still says preparing order. I'm worried about that. Has anyone else experienced this?

Got my Screamer in today; Swerve is still in shipment ether.

@SSound; it happened with my Hot Rod order. I got on it before i could get an email from WM and had them push the order through. It took some cajoling but it got done, finally.

I used to be when Target was more expensive and Walmart generally had the stock. And now it's backwards

That's sort of like when TRU would start a pre-order two months early and then cancel it after 30 days per their policy because they assumed you wouldn't still want it or found it somewhere else even though it's their own exclusive. Meanwhile I've currently got pre-orders out in Japan for April 2019. Collectors aren't as impatient as soccer moms trying to save 10 cents on Froot Loops, Walmart!

No one was home so I had to schlep it to FedEx to pick up my Devy. So far so good. For those that have it, a question. Is Hook a floppy mess? On mine, the middle piece that you have to pull apart to transform him doesn't really stay in place. Literally, gravity is enough to separate him.

Well, what I feared has happened. Contacted walmart through their chat service. Guy says my devastator was out of stock... this is the second time this happened. Guy says he put a 10 day search for in stock and when it is available, he set my order as priority. I asked him why didn't they do that in the first place because at 6:38 am I got two emails that said walmart cancelled order and the other being nowinstock.com stating they had some in stock a couple days ago at the exact same time... All I got was sorry. So, now I am praying that they will get more in within 10 days before my order is cancelled.

At least my Bumblebee has shipped. I hope I get the shipping confirmation for devastator when I wake up. Sigh.

Normal for the design. Try tightening the screw with a phillips screw driver.

So the last of my preorders got canceled. I preordered all but Hot Rod. Here's what seems to have happened. Walmart just abandoned all preorders leaving it to the automated system to deal with it. I think that system waits for the estimated arrival day to arrive, sends a message saying to just wait a while longer, and then a day or two later auto-cancels the order. Walmart never really intended to fill the preorders. I got SS by doing a regular order and Dev should arrive next week via regular order as well.

If the small autobot cars don't go back into stock I guess I'm paying 2x - 3x the price on eBay.

Well, they cancelled my Bee order that I snuck in last week. Funny part is that at the time, they were charging $14 for it. I ordered anyway only to still get it cancelled. Ugh. I'm going to wait it out for a while and see what happens. If nothing by Oct, I'll probably get the Devastator set from eBay. I hate to do it, but I really want this set with the display box.

Actually, I had come here to say...

WOO HOO! I don't know how, but I made it out of those original pre-orders unscathed on this one! Got the text he was ready for in-store pick up while at work.
Tomorrow was the deadline I was given before they cancel my order for Tailgate and Swerve. I'm not holding out any hope. Starscream here was my main priority anyway.

Thanks for the reply Cobo. Hot Rod has been found in discount stores for months now and we did news when it was first found at Ross. We didnt news the ollies find because ollies was just another store to get him later. But sightings are always welcome in the state specific sightings threads so that fans can know there is some cool stuff nearby

My order for Bumblebee just got cancelled.

I had that preorder for a month.

I was so excited, I figured once I got the preorder I was safe.

What the frack, Walmart.

Now we’re back to square one :BANG_HEAD:

So what do I do now? Just go back to checking the page to see if it’s in stock and hope I get lucky again?
