Not really. I'm just one of (hopefully) many normal people, with perhaps a different sense of morality and decency than perhaps people like yourself. I simply don't think, in cases like this, we should have our cake and eat it after getting a faulty product. I'm sure there are cases where getting both might apply (such as receiving poor customer support, overly long waiting times, or when it would cost a company more to "receive" and/process returned goods, rather than chalk them up as losses after reimbursing the customer), but I've not seen that with the case above. Again, I could have misinterpreted the original post though.

You know what, since you have nothing to lose in this case, why not file a request on Hasbro's website. Say you bought this toy and it came to you broken and you can't transform it. They will send you a replacement product. Most probably not Tigatron, but hey, you'll get a brand new product for free.

I got him on the first round, but I have a buddy who needs one. He's been a pain to track down at Walgreens, and now he's gone in minutes because I wasn't near a computer when the drops went live.

Man do I feel lucky to have gotten one form Pulse the first time around. I absolutely hated tracking down the Walgreens exclusives in recent years.

To anyone that has to resort to finding him in stores, look in the regular toy section, not the holiday one. That is where I always found them in years past.

I've had no issue finding the Walgreens exclusives each year going all the way back to TR Brainstorm in 2016. Also yes,I always look in the regular toy section that's where they've always been. However, I don't think we have a single report yet if anyone actually finding it in stock at a Walgreens store. Have we?

Not that I've seen, other than them saying it was available, only for it not to be.

Found Rowdy Roddy Prime at meijer for $67 after tax and decided he would be my gift to myself this year since gift shopping was over Here is my thoughts:
Robot mode is great, proportions are bang on and he's very limber. Hitting poses is no problem and I really like how tidy the transformation is, the way the arm pipes fill in gapes and how the chest/arms flip and fold together. That being said, the first time you do perform it it DOES feel pretty scary. However! Nothing stressed or snapped after being gentle and it's gotten easier every time
Vehicle mode is super sweet too, the trailer is gorgeous and all the storage flaps and compartments are thoughtful and welcome. Now I know some have reported that the trailer halves don't seal up all the way with the cannon inside, this isn't true. Just make sure the little side panels are flipped up and the handles are folded down, fits tight as a drum. You can even sneak a small car former in there (right now I've got Siege Bluestreak chillin)

People have also said Roddy doesn't seem to sit all the way back enough, also not true. I got the tail fin to fit all the way flush into the slot on the sides, you might feel some resistance but give Hume a gentle firm push and he snaps right in and out no problem, I missed this extra snap the first time too

Super glad I found him on sale tho, he looks the business and performers beautifully

Great score! Commander Rodimus Prime is really good.

Exactly. To some of us that's a major turn off in vehicle mode. Great robot mode, though.

Thats one of the reasons I didnt get Rodimus as well. His front end supposed to be a lot more short and stubby compared to Hot Rods. Its an awesome figure though and if my headcanon 4th season collection didnt have Hot Rod as a targetmaster, I would have jumped at this. As a kid I loved my Rodimus and Hot Rod figures.

About Red Alert; I'm really glad I ordered mine from Pulse the first time. Its so much better, to me, than Siege. Better car mode and a much improved great colour layout. Luckily I had a friend want my Siege figure. The only Walgreens exclusive I bought, besides Red Alert, was Ratchet. Looked in one store and got him. Good hunting day.

So I just picked up Golden Disc Jackpot & Sights (just because I wanted the Battlemaster). I was able to get one form Amazon Warehourse for $20 shipped because it claimed to have damaged packaging. I was expecting worse, but the package was in tact. Perhaps because it had stickers on the package itself the previous buyer didn't want it? But it was unopened and in perfect condition. I'm not saving the packaging so no big deal.

I was thinking of keeping Jakcpot, but he's definitely going into the "sell" pile early in the new year. I've never handled SS86 Jazz, but for some reason, no matter what I cannot get the rear windshield to align correctly. It is either too high, or gets caught under the car roof and and is too low.

My Puffer and Road Ranger shipped from Pulse, should have them next week.

Is the Pipes/Puffer mold easy to swap heads with? I'm really thinking about swapping their heads for an IDW accurate Pipes

Actually, ya know what? What if, we got Animated Omega retooled from the Ark, and Mainframe was given his OG color scheme in that release? I think it could work

Its just a ball joint from what I can tell. Have not tried to pull of the head on my Puffer or Road Ranger, so have no idea how difficult it may be.

As much as they might be nice, I'd rather not have to spend over 300 dollars (in Japan) just to get an originally coloured Mainframe. However, I would be up for a few "mainframe" (animation studio) Easter eggs in such a singular release of the toy, just for giggles.

I got Kingdom Tigatron last week. I can't believe be was difficult to get because it was either official sites that have preorders on the way or third party sellers. He's certainly the Kingdom Rodimus to Cheetor's SS86 Hot Rod in terms of engineering.
