it's pretty much impossible because the camera is so shaky at that point. But it is clear that ironhide drops the car after being hit by that rocket (or whatever it is). He falls flat forward and lets go of the car right before he hits the ground. If you indeed have the movie on your pc and it is of decent quality you should be able to come to the same conclusion by having a close look.

feel free to prove me wrong with a screenshot of your own perhaps.

Hmm you may be right there...didn't notice that Ironhide had the Brake Lights going off on his chest there. After slowing it down, I saw the missles fly by as well. Yeah its very hard to see anything in that seen...looks like a big blurry blob. Still makes me wonder though...

seriously, those screenshots are very blurry. the blue light that you see that is supposably barricade is actually blackout's weapon firing. It IS NOT barricade and there is no light whatsoever before blackout appears. i'll post screenshots if there is any doubt. So let me know. I am desperate to send this ugly rumor to its grave.

**edit** the screenshot put up on the page you linked that is supposably taken 'before blackout even appears' is in fact taken after he appears, but due to the bad quality of the screenshot and/or original video file it would seem that he was not there before.

Barricade died in the movie. He was never seen again after you saw him and bonecrusher on the high way. It did't take too long for prime to defeat him. So prime would have been there in the last battle sooner. Optimus must have killed barricade on the way there, that's the only thing I can think of. (BTW, I'm 13 ^^)

that too. they rely too much on very bad quality pictures and false statements. barricade is not dead (at least he didnt die on screen)!

Barricade has SEVEN spokes on his BLACK wheel

The wheel in the other picture is SILVER and has FIVE spokes

How can anyone seriously believe that is Barricade? Do u think his wheel design changed as he exploded?!?

All these fans swearing blind that its Barricade and posting screenshots to ''prove it'' :lol:

..just count the spokes

starscream did go away, in the end in the part of the credits ull see he gets out of the planet, barricade and scorponok did not go with starscream, i think they didnt go to vigilate the autobots while the autobots think both are dead

Its very tough to tell that Barricade is getting taken out there, because Ironhide and him are the same color. So it just looks like one big transformer blob. Easiest way to tell if you can see Barricades Red Eyes as he is thrown to the wall.

well that...it really might be it...its too hard to see everythin thats happening at the screen...maybe...just maybe...

My guess is, they initially planned on offing him, but a lone Decepticon isn't that much of a threat.

So they most likely cut it to give Barricade a chance in the sequel(s).

They'd be stupid not to bring him back, he's one of the best new characters...period.

I seriously doubt thats it.

After Prime kills Bonecrusher, you can clearly see that Prime is looking around, and it seems like he's looking for something or someone. I'm betting it was Barricade he was looking for.

As the movie stands, it's not a matter of "oh the audience is stupid lol" it's a matter of "Wow, this is balls to the wall insane, knockdown, dragout street fighting, one of 'em got away because he could and no one paid attention."

A lot of people tend to have a very negative and disgusted view when it comes to this movie and those behind it.

...just remember, no one's perfect. No one did this to you on purpose just because it would piss you off or something.

Think about that, the next time, before you hit the Submit button.

I've read the book novelization of the movie and in it, Barricade tries to sneak attack Optimus just after the Bonecrusher fight on the highway. He failed. Miserably.

I looked on Wikipedia and Barricade is listed as 1 of 3 surviving Decepticons, the others being Starscream and Scorponok.

Whether that's the official word I don't know. I get the feeling the 2nd film is going to feature some of the decepticons (And Jazz) being re-built!

AHA! I knew Prime was looking around for something...

I would like to see them bring Barricade back though. He's fantastic.
