Baiting. This thread isnt about whether this guy has a job or not.

On topic, most expensive single bots would have to be MP 01-04- and -05 (unplugged), followed by Universe Sentinel Maximus and Timelines Astrotrain

overall most expensive would be the last three botcon boxsets

I know, pathetic.

Hey, don't feel too bad -- my answer is the same! I paid the same price for Revoltech Prime too, so it's a tie, but yeah.

Besides them, my most expensive TF would be... Titanium Soundwave.

I think the most expensive ones are both from action-hq. BTA-04 KISS Convoy & Melissa and Collection 20 Char & Wheelie (which is coming) were both US$69.95 (not including shipping, which is the highest I pay when I order stuff online).

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

Reissue Megatron (the one before TFC) who was transformed all of twice, didnt have his stickers applied and still had his bullets on the sprue. He cost me more than MP Megs or MP SS, but at the time (a year or so ago) there didnt look like there was much chance of getting a G1 Megatron in that kinda condition any cheaper. Dispite the fact i could have gotten him cheaper he is still one of my prize peices of the collection, and worth every damn penny.

And how on earth does a 13 year old even get a Revoltech?!? I didnt have any means to buy on line at that age, and I doubt my folks would ever have bought it for me.

Maybe his parents bought it for him. How hard is it to imagine - a 13 year old kid asks his parents for a Revoltech Megatron, and then they buy it for him.

Is he meant to be working his ass off to pay back the money, or does the above situation sound quite normal to anyone else?

Not from my poor ass family. I was lucky to get TFs the size of Megatron or Prime but nothing any bigger. Except my birthday and Christmas, my grandmother would go all out and get me a bigger one like Trypticon.

God damnit. There I go again missing the 80's. I'm going to kick Father Time so hard in the balls....

Well, I'm much older than 13, but I picked mine up at an anime convention. Import toy/music/etc. stores also sell Revoltechs, so it is possible to come by them without ordering online. :)

To date masterpiece megetron, before him the gi reissue of megetron from Japan when he first came out and TRU wasn't going to be importing him, both unmodified.

Megs is just taking my money at gunpoint! ba dum dum :P

I have thus far resisted Prime with his trailer since I got the US release sans the trailer. But daily I feel the call of the trailor, long stacks, and no battle damage. One day soon I will give in I fear.

I think my most expensive was 20th Anniversary Prime at £50.

I have the supreme figures, but I'm a slick devil and got them all damn cheap.

So my least expensive was Energon Omega Supreme for a humble £5!

I was in NYC Visiting my Sister and the maternal side of my family. I figured that in New York City, of all places, it wouldn't be too hard to find a few of the Transformer's that I'd been aching for, but didn't want to order online.

Forbidden Planet on Broad Way happened to have some Binaltechs, Robot Masters, one of those ugly bug guys from Beast wars (but in Japanese packaging), and some Revoltech Megatrons in the back. Then towards the front of the store was the actual Transformers section, a single shelf with a few first wave movie toys (this was back before the movie came out), some titaniums, and some classics. I would have bought some classics and titaniums had I known how awesome the classics are and how rare the titaniums were getting. I had about $160 to spare anyway.

I payed $450 for a complete G1 Omega Supreme with a torn box but all the origional paper work.

I bought it retail at a collector shop, so there was tax on top of that!

Please keep in mind this was a year or so before Ebay, so collector stores, comic conventions, or chance where the only real way to get some bots back then.

I have a similar question.

What Transformers toy was most expensive to date? I mean the official suggested retail price from Hasbro. (Pls don't include jack-up prices)
