I shelled out over 500$ for my G1 Fort Max. Had been wanting him since the Rebirth originally aired and my Scorpinok never had anyone to fight. Graduated college, first thing I did... bought fort max :)

Also had gotten reissue Predaking which was def worth it, imported MP-01 to get the good version. And this was all before I had even graduated college and still had only summer income to live off of :) If I want a TF, i get it. If i can't do it now, then I know I sure won't be able to later in life with a family, etc.

reissue predaking, at least in terms of sheer goods you are getting some value for $$. A great piece too, it was a TF i wasnt really familiar with upon its reissue but am so glad i got one upon initial release, i mean who would have thought that such a huge rare piece was ever to get reissued.

That's actually a good question. I'd probably have to sayeither New Years G1 Prime or Devastator. Some of the few moments I crossed the $100 mark, not even Predaking, Megatron, nor Galvatron cost me that much.

MP Convoy for about $105, and reissue Predaking, about $155.
Reissue e-hobby Galvatron comes close, I think he was about $90. The wife really didn't care for the fact that I bought both the e-hobby and the anime version!

My top is AU$99 for Cybertron Primus, not a high price, but that is down to luck/me needing to budget and thus cannot spend lots of $$$ on older figures I want. :P

The luck part was getting Optimal Optimus MISB for $50.

Mine would have to be Movie Leader Optimus Prime. I'm stationed in Germany, where they mark up imports. So I bought him for 50 Euros. With the American dollar being so cheap right now it roughly translated to around $80. With that said, all of my movie figures were insanely expensive! I had a friend who bought Cybertron Primus at Toys-r-us for a translated $120, and a week later we found it on post for $29.99.

MP-05 was $130 Canadian, and the same for MP-03, which my girlfriend bought me for Christmas last year.

Yup, she's a keeper. She's bought me a few already, including one of my personal grails, Reissue Soundwave. :D

Maybe one day you'll meet a cool girl who will buy you gifts like Transformers. 8)

Hah, sorry man, don't know any. But try hanging out with the geekier girls, they might be more down with Transformers than most. ;)

G1 Metroplex went for US$100 back in the day. (plus tax in appropriate areas)

Not sure what the prices were for the UK/ Canada, or if he was even available fore sale in other countries outside the North American continent.

G1 prices are easy, just add a 0 after the original amount and you have your current ebay price.

Hmm, I don't think so. If I recall Metroplex was like 30-40 USD. Nowaday, I'd sa, loose complete would run yuo about 80 while MIB about 200. Rough guesses.
