it has one function just like INT, RNK SKL and END
FRP has 2
STR has 3
SPD has 4


To be honest, I dont care how many tactics a stat feeds, and im not that bothered about strenght allowing for armor, as armor's only a minor improvment. Speed could probably d owith sharing some of it's abilities with courage, but what I really want to see is Int, Rnk, Frp and Skl doing something on their own without having to buy or learn somthing to make it useful.
Rnk could allow you charecter to dictate the target maybe (the charecter with the highest rank gets the priority in taget idetification), int was always suposed to help your charecter identify the best target, and frp could improve progectile weapons in some way (accuracy? damage?) and skl could help melee and unarmed attacks.

I know those generally don't do much either (well, CRG is a cheap stat to make use of) but I'd really like to see something more done with them, especially INT.

And RNK, I think, is only good for getting better armour. You can give that to just about any other stat (except STR since it already gives more armour) or even make a separate out of it. RNK should have something to do with leadership. Although it would still be useless in the arena, it would make RNK seem like RNK rather than just a function that could be easily given to any other stat without changing a name. Not that I'm suggesting we move the armour to another stat, since that would take needless reprogramming. I like it where it is; just give RNK something more to do.

And there's really no incentive to getting high levels of INT. After 4 or so, it's done. Unless I missed something.

In makes really awesome medics (and for the same reason makes good xp for kremzeek owners), other than that, it is completly usless, and you shouldnt use any unless you have the spare xp burning a hole in your pocket.

Rank should allow the mission leader to dictate the target to those lower ranked. e.g. eliminating the biggest threat first and working their way down the food chain, or taking out the medics, etc.

Or, in game mechanic terms; lower ranked teammates would be <% chance> forced to attack the same target as the 'leader' until its dead.

It would work well with the original intention of Int.

How about rank in the actual game being responsible for what kind of armor you can install.

I imagine that it would be a pain to program but it does make sense in a way.

Factions would want their best warriors to have the best armor.

For each faction break it down by 10% going from the top 10% for the best armors to the bottom 10% for the low end armors.

Which would free up rank to do something else that is more leadership like.

Well, if he is gone, it's probably a good thing, cuase he had become BB syndrome mk2. Once you got him, there was no point getting any higher weapon, cuase Kremzeek is better.

Weapon: Reciprocating Laser Cannon
Well, it was the ideal weapon for the high-level NR-armored medics... The only cons I didn't use them were my strafers, who had low armor and could afford higher FP-requirement weapons.

Even they would have been better off with Kremzeek. For a start it made taking advantage of cheap int worth while, cuase it feeds Krem's repair functions.

But as I say, we're better of without him overall, even if it does mean individual charecters getting less xp.

So it seems the general consensus and most popular ideas are the return of the Quints, return of Kremzeek *shudder*, standardized costs and dual tactics for all alts, and some kind of use for Intelligence.

I'm for everything but the kremzeeks, I say leave the little spark ball dead.

And I really want the universal dual tactics. I'd love Malicron to have his proper Laser Prime/RID Scourge alt, but it's rather pathetic with just ram. Not that that's a new problem.
