What's the deal with Battle Blades?
- Motto: "Government didn't create the problem, government IS the problem."

Is it just me or are Battle Blades an extremely unbalanced weapon? You apparently only need FRP 3 to use them and yet they easily do considerably more damage than many higher level weapons such as the Electron Scimitar Sword (SKL 5) and even sometimes the Maceration Laser (FRP 7). The majority of the time my bots go up against someone armed with Battle Blades they lose? Do I just need to buy them all Battle Blades to even up the score?

except that the blades are always better than the macerarion laser, you've got it in one.
EDIT 6str requires a minimum of 63k, battleblades require a minimum of 19K, not a viable comparison, and of course 6str with battleblades beats the pants off 6str unarmed.

You're clearly viewing the screen in the wrong way. The screen should actually show the weapons as all pretty much equal but due to a coding error, it won't show up on first go. To change it, hit Alt and F4 at the same time. Hope this helps!
Okay, I couldn't resist...

Lol, new guy served Doomboy..nice.
(No offence Doomboy but it is funny.
)
Yeah the BB's are way overpowered but once Glyph's back into things here (he the guy in charge of the game and as of late he's had alot on his plate including a newborn child lately) one of the things he hopes to do is figure out the weapons. It's not priority one but it's in the works.
Welcome to the game.

Battle Blades are a myth to scare little cybertronians into eating their dinner.

I've been a casual HMW player for some time now but I rarely ever post on the boards. Maybe I should be a little more involved.
But Shadowblade is right, HMW is strangely addictive.

You'll probably find that after a short while of interacting on the boards, you will have leart enough to seriously improove your team's performance, BBs or not.

Ok well here's a question. Which is better:
A few High level stats
Or
Many low level stats
I usually try to stick with a few high level stats and a while back that seemed to keep my bots winning a majority of the time. But lately they are not faring so well. Any advice here?

At high level one I prefer one high stat-say at 6, 3 in Crg and 2 in FRP or similar, that leaves you 2 more upgrades that could go to Tactics or another stat.

Depends on what sort of bot you're trying to build. Rammer? Strafer? Repairer? XP Generator?
