anyone willing to explain this game to me? i've read the help forums n i'm still confused as heck.
for one thing... how come missions and battles take so long? it'll say 20 min. but really be like an hour.
another thing is whats the manual/auto options about for battles and missions?
can someone help before i explode?

When you "enter" a bot into a mission, your effectively volunteering him to join the attacking force. The clock counts down to zero, giving commanders a chance to volunteer their bots and brief them. At 0:00:00, the bots pack up and leave for the combat zone, where they confront the enemy and engage in combat for 20 minutes.

IRL, The wait time varies depending on the mission, and when you happen across it, but the server always gets 20 minutes to calculate the results after everyone has joined.

That's for the CR chamber. If you set it to manual, you're bots will return from their missions damaged, or even stasis-locked, and will still be in that condition until you, yourself, put them in the CR chamber. If you set it on auto, they will automatically enter the CR chamber and be fully repaired in 60 minutes or less, though it may cost additional energon.

ooooh cool thanks.

nexy question is about skills n each alt modes special skills, what do they mean and how do they affect combat?

in particular, i have two bots a sea creature and a battle fortress. special skills are strafe and avoid.. what does this mean?

You know about the times of missions so you have at least one char. All mission take 20 minutes from the point they start, but there are delay times for when they start. I think some are longer than others but basically if you join just as it begins its 20 minutes ,if you join when it first gets posted it is more like an hour and 20 minutes.

Go to registry. Top of page are a bunch of buttons select options. In option you can set a few stuff like auto cr. Auto CR is more expensive energon wise ,but ...well its auto. Handy if you have fewer characters (I just cycle between my 12) esp. if you can only play every once and a while.

You put characters into mission/arena and wait. You spend exp on stats/tactics ,equip weapons/armor/minicons (those are new) and that's pretty much it. There will be more that you control over the next few weeks as we are slowly going toward vrs. 2.0. Your current characters will be reset ,but you keep the slots. You will be able to learn how to play so please play ,help us play test stuff and you won't be behind the curve learning stuff when vrs. 2.0 goes completely online.

strafe means u continously hit ur opponent depending on ur and ur foe's tactics. and avoid means u flee ur opponents attacks or in most ppls' case, the autobots!!!!!

Got beaten to the punch. :sad:


Tactics: Happens more often the more points in. As a feeder stat that make it more effective. Also tactic damage isn't affected by armor only end.

Repair: repairer-int, repairee-end

Stafe: Firepower- hit several times for smaller amounts.

Ram: Str -hit one guy, stun chance both ways based on relative str

Avoid: Speed- a dodge roll if you got hit.

Though Tactics/alt modes will change alot soon. My understanding is that there will be something lik 17 tactics.

Help wise for skills and psecial skills, in the game toolbar to the left, there should be a link that says Iacon City. It's an Autobot-only subforum. and there's an off-site, more relxed version, but I can't say any more.

man you're stacked.. how do mini cons help your expenses? i want to be a really good player n you guys seem like good examples to follow. cuz right now i'm just a losticon. ha

you transform when you use a a tactic, the higher your tactic stats the higher chance of them occuring, (zero points=zero chance of them occuring)

So THAT'S what I've been doing wrong all these years, I've onlt posted 'drnk' never played that way.
And here I've wasted my life away tracking and analyzing set-ups, and weapons..... and all I really needed was some Captain Morgan.

That's it all my minicons are getting renamed as booze.

seriously though, Vodka seems to be my best minicon, 24hours and he still lives, while poor Southern Comfort has bit the dust more times than i've passed out drunk.
