Postby TM doomtron » Sun May 06, 2007 10:40 am

i saw the optimus prime movie preview fig over at remeys the pics were awsome! i ordered mine today :D . question though is anyone going to bash one of these?i am goiing do a g1 color themed one. i will change the head and make some slight vehicle mode mods. i think he would make for a cool alphatrion or a cybertron bludgeon. has anybody bashed one yet?

I would be careful with them. Master Fwiffo putted some silver colors on his Protoform Starscream, and THE FIGURE CRUMBLED IN HIS HANDS BECAUSE OF IT.

ookkayyy.... . Are they that fragile? I was thinking on making a mecha, not a TF. They have pretty good designs. Prime would be the perfect one for Mecha designs. Starscream is kinda solid. He is "boxy" in some parts.

Thats the first I've heard of that kinda of issue with them. Most people seem to thing they are pretty sturdy. Haven't seen one in my area so can't say.

I was going to suggest that this may proof of Tramp's claims that enamels eat plastic (in this case munching through like a starving wolverine). But actually, by the look of it, it had nothing to do with the paint; there aren't any apps where it broke.
But since he appears to be the only one with a problem, maybe he just got a bad casting - an air bubble in the plastic, or something.

Well a guy on the club forums made a custom Waspinator that looks beautiful using the Starscream mold. And he had absolutely no problems with it.

he must have taken it appart, and then when putting it back together put the screw in too tight. or there were some previous stress marks.
"Dammit. why is it that you "get" my sketches and Hasbro can't?"

I think he got really mad for some reason, he may have been drunk..., so then he smashed it and he sat on it, after that he did the Liu Kang Fatality on the arm.
