A good rule of thumb is that 5 in a stat is average. For example a 5 in tech would mean the character can use technology well. Can drive a car, use a computer, fix a loose hinge on a door.
A 3 in the stat would need someone guiding them to do what we consider simple tasks.
A 3 in charisma would be a character that has no personal skills and no one would want to follow except out of fear (as in Motormaster's case), and no one wants hanging out around them.
Fox mentioned how stats are related, and that is a very good point. Also keep in mind how stats charisma, intelligence, and courage relate to the personality of the character and how others relate to the character.
Stats are both skill and personality, don't sacrifice one for the other. And remember to match what you write in Profile: with the stats. A low charisma is not a friendly mech, and probably has no desire to be either (the only time you can get around that is if the stat is higher than the the description on purpose, such as a charisma higher than described because the character uses bitterness as a shield, but if you can get them to drop their guard they are really very nice, or something of that sort)

I take another look at them and see what I can change while keeping them how I had created them once before. And um, when Fanmade combiners do come out, this one's going to have a lot of members. My Combator team started with five members, but has seemed to grow, to having around 11 members. Each with a different spot on the combined form in my other universe with him.

Fanmade combiners will not likely ever be made available. Just a heads up. If this impacts your decision to join the game, I understand, but I hope you'll still consider joining up. I do recommend trying out a canon gestalt team character. We have several available.

Not necessarily true....though it is for the most part. Someone recently got approved for a minicon partner, and one of my guys has a very small sibling that could technically be a targetmaster.

I like to break out stats like this. Strength, Speed, Endurance, Firepower are related to what they turn into usually. Like with a tank, I'd say high strength, endurance and firepower but low speed. With jets, it tends to be low strength and endurance, but high firepower and speed.
The rest of the stats tend to deal with what they can do. Melee is how good you are in close quarters combat. If this is low, it doesn't super matter how much strength you have when dealing with someone with a higher melee score. But having high melee and high strength is a very potent combination for a martial artist. And so forth and so on. PM me if you have more questions.

How would you do breakout stats for a Mach Truck?, Just asking that’s all...
