yeah, I didn't really like minicons the way they were.
To me there was no point naming them, they just ended up dead.
and they seemed forced on me, I had to buy minicons to be one of the cool kids.

I have three ideas about them:

1. Make them more permenant but completely optional thing.

2. have only limited amounts of minicons and whenever a minicon-less bot locks a miniconed bot they would steal their minicon.
and you couldn't un-equip them, that way they are always circulating.

3. this is an older idea I had, but have them be one of many types of "battle partners" others include headmaster and targetmasters and stuff because they are almost the same thing. and thy will include other types aswell. thay way if you dont want a minicon o can have something else.

coz you know they where just name swaps with the current tactics.

I was under the impression that some of them were new - like dogfight for the plane alt modes, and fireblast for the destroyer (and any others it applied to).

Dogfight = Strafing Air Targets
Fireblast = Strafing Ground Targets

That's at least how I understood it.

True but having 3 Tactics for all Alt Classes whould be better then what we have now. My opinion only. That and more bots.

They never seemed exciting.
Give me a day, I'll hammer out a few suggestions for better ones, but the land/sea/air idea for V2 really didn't grab like it should have.

Hey the Min-cons can power you up so no problems or whining cause we need them and fast but they will be better thats right just you see it will be good and Talk to your faction leader to find out. The person who don't want them can get creamed. :lol:

They'd be allright if they had a level requirement. Like low-level ones only raising a stat by one or two to keep things in balance. Still, if we had minicons, we'd have to have Targetmasters, Headmasters, and other stuff, and there's a lot more important things to be worked out first. The Minicons should be more for role-playing purposes, although we could get some weapons named "minicon" (like the one Caelus mentioned. They were a neat idea, but in practice they were extremely broken, and they got destroyed in battle. Someday, when everything is running smoothly, maybe we can get properly balanced minicons. Until then, they'll just have to be character background only.

AND this is exactly why they need to be optional, if it's a case of you have to have them to win, then the game stops being fun cos the hardcore plyers will be in the quint missions, watching when they win minicons and taking a very quick trip to shop to buy them up.

have them multiply damage

so you have 1 that increase strafe damage:

[strafe's raw damag]*[FRP boost]*[Target's END]*[minicon bonus]

make the minicon bonuses small so maybe +5,10,15%

make it not stat based but attack based

so you'd have one set for weapon attacks, one for unarmed, one for each tactic, maybe one for accuarcy, one for defense against each tactic, one for defense agains weapons, one for defense against unarmed, one for increasing energon winnings, one for increasing xp, one fore decreasing CR time, one for decreasing CR cost

keep that if you die with one it's lost

add in that if you kill someone with it you might steal it(maybe have a minicon set for increasing the likely hood of this happening)

Have a resource mission

winning the resource missions nets those players minicons

the shop is filled when those players SELL there minicons

I'd rather see the Bot Modes fixed. Not like OS had them. Alt-Mode lists for each Faction. More Maximals and Preds. Missions, and Joint Missions. More Special Events not just the Turnaments (I know spelled wrong) but like one time Events say Unicron, a new Planet discovery, heres one a Turnament were the Mods are involved, Sports or special team battles Commander VS Commander. Bots must be = level. The unknowns taken care of. No more Bots Vs Cons Winner Preds. Just plan Bots VS Cons Winner Cons. There more I can think of if I wasn't tired.

DtreetVivper2 do you think bot modes are more important than a power boost. The thing I would like the min-cons to do is power up our attacks
in any way right Jeep and well DtreetVivper2 you do raise a good point
so to regain the min-cons we will have to fight Unicron to get them after all he did make them so why not. :APPLAUSE:

Mincons were too expensive and gimmicky.
Minicons were too fragile.
Minicons are beyond the current capabilities of our programmer.

Minicons aren't G1 and should be banned accordingly.

Hey so they may have not been in G1 but still they desearo a chance to return back to HMW and if you are not going to like this E Prime (just because I can't spell to well) well forget your thought on the problem
because it's not need to be herd and don't forget what I said before so you want to get your guys creamed well thats fine so no more fussing about it it's done all right and it doned on me I talk to OS and he than said nothing.
