What size class is this guy? So long as it isn't deluxe or smaller I'm fine with that!
Okay, listen please. He doesn't combine, and he's a Voyager. This is the non-combining toy Hasbro is releasing. The nicer detailed toys with individual robot modes cannot combine. The are making a seperate box set of all six that cam combine, but they are more simplistic and have no individual robot modes. So if you want it all you will be spending the money on Devastator TWICE. It blows chuncks, but it's the truth.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

Yeah cause that was what a whole week ago?![]()
We still get questions about Brawl/devastator 2 years later.
Did you ever consider that the trailer may not have shown every protoform crashing to Earth? There could've been some that crashed in China who turn out to be the C-cons.First-Aid wrote:Alright. Just noticed antoher thing after watching the teaser for the 8,336th time (it rocks...what am i supposed to do??)
Demolishor is in China. Evidence is the street signs on the overpass.
Evidence suggests the Constructicons land in Egypt (the six protoforms crashing in the desert).
Odds are Demolishor does NOT make the trek from China to Egypt. I will continue to hold a belief that Demolishor is different than the one in the combiner.

Or, perhaps they aren't together at first and crash in separte parts of the world, and then come together later to form Devastator later in the film.

Well, Let'sa not forget that this is not the first time Hasbro ahs given two names to two toys of the same character. It's happened several times in the past.First-Aid wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Did you ever consider that the trailer may not have shown every protoform crashing to Earth? Oh, I'm not goign to rule it out. I'm just looking at what we have right now to go on and trying to tie some of the ends together. There is a real possibility that this "tight knit community" Dems puts together turns out to be our Constructicons. I'm just pointing out that Dems first shows up in China, which we all have been shown is the opening sequence (or at least towards the beginning of ROTF. In addition, the toy at Toy Fare seemed to have been labeled Scavenger. As a result I got a bit confused and I'm just trying to sort things out to my own satisfaction. I welcome any discussion on the matter. I'm simply putting forth my own hypothesis...

Exactly. No one reads anyone else's posts anymore I believeI've got the Voyager version in my possesion and there is just no concievable way for it to combine, no extra port for connection, SCVNGR is not printed on the side, no extra clips, ect. WYSIWYG, you either have to get the set for combined Devestator, or the individuals for robots with alt modes and no Devestator the end. Would have been nice if they combined but it isn't going to happen unless someone kitbashes the individuals.

I doubt this is the last time this will be explained either. We've known this for how long now? Since Toyfare. Some of it can be contributed to video reviewers who relayed mis-info and the Today show or something like that. THANKS A LOT HODA
Why would Scavenger stay separate when it's the Scavenger toy that forms the Devastator torso and has no robot mode, and the non-combining Demolishor toy is the one with the bio about this?The_Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:Archatron wrote:Scaleface wrote:The_Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:I can't wait for this and the others to come out! Wow you people really hold yourselves in high regard. Not everyone who goes here reads every post of every news article so get used to it.
Also, last I heard (unless there have been posts quelling this rumor) there were going to be seven Constructicons. Maybe only six of them (the small community that Scavanger has collected) combine while Scavanger stays separate?

For one thing, it could be a prototype. We won't know if the final product will have the word "SCVNGR" printed on its side until June.Robinson wrote:Thats nice that you overpaid for a toy that will be out in a couple months.
Like I said We'll just have to see in june whose wrong or right.
I'm probably wrong and it's not a big deal, like I said i just dont see why they wouldn't paint the same character the same way for its initial release. It just makes no sense to me.
If my name was mark, i wouldnt want robert tattoed on me, i would want my own name. Odd analogy, but you get the idea.
