Note that it's the 2007 voyager Megs...WTF? Would be a potential buy if it were ROTF Megs and the 3 pack was discounted. And damn, does that Megs figure suck! Not worth owning one, much less two...

I think old meg & fallen are voyager. Soundwave is deluxe...

I actually liked the first movie's Voyager Megatron, at least the Best Buy Premium version, but I certainly don't need another one. That Soundwave, however, looks totally freaking sweet so far. There's no way I can allow myself to buy that though, not for Soundwave alone, and I've already decided to hold out for the Fallen on Fire repaint.

The Best Buy metallic Megs looks great, but the figure still sucks. This one doesn't look to be half as nice looking as that one, so it extra sucks. Now if it was a repaint of the ROTF voyager, more movie accurate colors...now that would be a buy! (Especially since I don't have voyager Megs or The Fallen and still have Soundwave in his package and could exchange it for something else.)

Meh. I don't know why they would stick the first Voyager Megs in there. I'm guessing Soundwave will be sought after and highly expensive loose on eBay, so I won't bother. The first one's good enough.

That Megatron looks like a non-metallic version of the Best Buy Premium Megatron (which I already own) but that Soundwave looks good...still, I would prefer a soundwave done in film accurate silver matte metallic (akin to the way Sideswipe was coloured as a toy). The Fallen I want, but I am not certain i will get. How bad exactly is his leg-peg problem?

It should've been ROTF Megs, with, like, G1 Megatron colors to correlate with Soundwave.

Damn I have all 3 of those molds (hell i got 3 soundwaves already) but I really want a blue Soundwave. Maybe i can get one of my friends to get it and ill buy Soundwave off him. Or buy it my self and keep it mint. Why couldnt they sell Soundwave on his own? I cant afford this.

I was actually pyched when I first saw teh repaint of Soundwave on tfw2005, but after looking at this image, it does not seem to be as good as I thought it was.

Too bad this isnt a WM exclusive- the hilarity that would ensue would be amazing. Can you imagine the returned TFs that would make it onto the shelf? I know its bad, but every time I see pics of that kind of stuff I giggle- where is that thread? (never do it, just like the show)

I already have a Soundwave in my collection. May pick up another cus I might have damaged his head but anyway! This soundwave looks... I'm not sure what but G1 Homage fails as does attempts to look REMOTELY Decepticon-ish. G1 Soundwave Homage Inferior, Retail ROTF Soundwave Superior.

I was getting Voyager Megatron anyway, but the second movie one, not that... thing!

And as for The Fallen... My friends hate me for this but my current financial state (I'm only 14 but... ah, I'm a weak collector) leaves me with another, more better alternative: Robot Replicas The Fallen. If anyone can tell me anything about that figure that may be good or bad or just anything, feel free to tell me.

not a bad thing.. I mean I don't have any of the ROTF movie figures yet, and to get this would be kinda cool.. wouldn't have to buy the fallen just a regular Soundwave I suppose..but I wish they had replaced the megatron with the New Voyager and repainted him in movie accurate silver.. then it would have been a perfect buy!

Heavy heavy sighs....what a travesty this set is! I bet the reason there is the old Megs in there is because/perhaps Best Buy will have a metallic release with the release of ROTF on DVD/Blue Ray. The mold totally sucks, but I bought two Best Buy exclusives and kept them in the box. As far as the Fallen...well I waiting out to see what the Target exclusive "Fallen on Fire" repaint looks like. I would buy the Soundwave if he was sold individually. Come on Hasbro...you're already standing on 3 legs, full of mange, and starting to smell like rotten eggs with this line...please don't make me take you out back and put you out of your misery! ~Reluctantyouth~

I don't own any of those molds, so looks like a win for me. The Whirl/Bludgeon 2pk came out in Europe, so fingers crossed for this one too.

Does anyone know if that Megs' mold in those colours has been released stand-alone? I'm a little behind the times these days.

Not QUITE in those colours. It looks to be the same colourscheme as the best buy exclusive Megatron, but in Non-Mettallic paints.
