Is it worth getting though? My experiences with movie adaptions has been less then enjoyable.

CP makes an excellent point. It's not so much a movie adaptation as...well, a significantly divergent story. I have to say I actually liked the end of the 'adaptation' better.

Still, for that price? There's some pretty art.
