As long as it's posted as a rumor, I think news posts like this are fair game. And second, no one in the news crew should be embarrassed about posting a rumor as long as there are reliable sources to back it up, even if it turns out the rumor is untrue in the end. It's part of the game.

Besides, speculating is fun. Remember when people thought we were going to get this guy?

Just throwing it out there, but could the basis for the Toxitron rumours (if Botcon isn't actually working on one) be that KOToys has already said that they will be releasing a Toxitron deco of the Classics Prime in the next couple months?

Could be ... I personally hope you're theory is correct. I could 100% do without a Toxitron toy. There's a reason it was canceled in the first place.

It's a repaint of the G2 Laser Rod Optimus Prime / RID Scourge mold that was originally planned to be part of the 2004ish Universe line.

Thanks, Seibertron. But I don't know what Galvatron looked like in the comics, but after I post this, I'll look it up on Google. They really should've released the RID Scourge/G2 Laser Prime mold for Universe 2009, or something a lot similar to it. And as for the Kre-Os, thanks for the name. That's gonna be hard for me to remember. Wonder when they release Megatron for the Kre-O line?

I have to agree with Seibertron. I revel in weird and bizarre Transformers, I have a major soft spot for the wacky colours of G2 and even I think Toxitron is ugly, has a silly name and is pointless.

I feel the same way, and that's why I want a Toxitron. Not out of an animated Prime though.

Ditto, 'cept for that part about agreeing with Seibertron.

Seibertrons response about the character was stated like it was fact. Like there's info there we don't know. I'm thinking it's much more likely that there's too much plastic used on the entire toy to cost out. Think about it, He's got a large robot mode, that trailer is packed full of gimmicks. It's got a gun, a sword, multiple firing discs, an air launcher doohickey, the missiles and of course the trailer itself.

Most of us weren't ready for Universe. That's what Toxitron was intended for and we got some great decos and molds out of a repaint line. I don't get why so many of us are hitting such a negative trending phase about the brand. Things are weird, life is strange, we're fans of a toyline that is based on change and transformation. Why can't we roll with the changes and be a little more open minded. This guy is loud, odd and kinda silly. What isn't to like? Also, did I mention? This mold is rad!

Motormaster should come with parts to combine with the rest of the stunticon exclusives
