Snakas has like a 50%/50% accuracy and it's a rumor. I just posted the image as is. If I posted MP-32(?) I might be accused of speculating or misrepresenting the image.

... I thought Masterpieces used the original Japanese names exclusively. Yet we have an image with ジャズ (Jazu) or "Jazz", instead of マイスター (Maisutā) or "Meister". Plus that pose is awefully similar to his cartoon character model.

I'm calling hoax for now.

EDIT: I've taken the liberty of running it through Google Translate and it doesn't necessary talk about a specific upcoming release at all.

Has it been confirmed by Takara or Hasbro that Optimus Primal will be MP-31? If so, this shouldn't even be considered "rumor."

According to this magazine scan it is 31.

I knew we had reported that Primal was 31, but didn't have time to check. Question is now, since this color proto is the newest thing on MP Primal and it's labeled as "MP??" does this mean that that magazine was incorrect?

And does it give possible merit to this MP Jazz business?

I would think Primal has to be 31. He is too far along in development. Of there was going to be another MP between him and Ratchet or Shockwave (in not sure which comes first), we would have seen development pics by now.

Very true.

That would be a nifty idea, that way those who want G1 only dont get a gap in their numbering.....should that sort of thing cause an issue.

It's been like 8 months since the rumor surfaced. Is this a red herring?
