For this point, we can probably handwave it with the "fictional world that looks like real life in the present but had a different history" excuse that a LOT of fiction tends to use.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:1) Strictly speaking, the Mastodon/Mammoth and Sabertooth Tiger (not a true tiger) came 60 to 62 million years after the Dinosaurs went extinct. At the very least, all 5 genus appeared in North America in some form.

Not "everyone", sadly. I've seen people complain that this movie used the "wrong" version, with their having wanted this movie to use the original Ron Wasserman version instead.TulioDude wrote:The one thing everyone seems to agree on is how the Go Go Power Rangers parts feels great.

Either way, I thought it was an awesome moment timed very well, even perfectly preceded by Alpha yelling "Go! Go, Power Rangers!"william-james88 wrote:personally, I dont think any version would fit that scene. the whole film was so different from anything else before that the music kind of threw me off. I didnt mind though, I got that it was fan service.

I don't follow. Both the Wasserman version and the Orchestra version have the same amount of verses and chorus counts. They're not that much longer or shorter from one another, and length wasn't really an issue anyway.TulioDude wrote:Even if the longer version from the series is more well know, its not the exact version that played in the intro anyway,so there's room for more than one version of the song.
Oh yeah! That made for an awesome big hero moment, followed by a hilarious prat fall that required the rangers to be in complete teamworking sync to defeat Goldar.TulioDude wrote:Another thing, while I would have liked to see the Megazord's combining sequence but I liked the whole robot emerging from the crater.Very Attack-on-titan-esque.

I still don't see that that has to do with this, since it's the chorus that played in the movie, rather than the first few notes of the song.TulioDude wrote:I don't follow. The intro version of the "Go Go POwer Rangers" parts, sounds slightly different from the longer version, even if they have the same notes and lyrics.

I loved this movie too. Its better than any live action TF movie so far.

I wouldn't give them bonus points for that, a lot of Ranger teams only had one white guy on there.
