I don't know if thats because in the state of Oregon there's no sales tax or what.

We know now that Powerglide becomes a gun for Superion so I think that's the gimmick sorta going forward. I say sorta since Skywarp uses the same mold as Starscream and has no way of transforming into a gun; Bombshell on the other hand... I thought something was up with his hands.

It's going to be interesting to see how the Legends figures play into the "Combiner Wars" next year. So far we've seen legends Powerglide as a gun, but we've also seen "Blackjack" as chest armor for Menasor. Is he going to be legends scale or deluxe scale? Will Menasor get a designated weapon partner too? Will Superion get a chest armor piece made of yet another honorary Aerialbot? I have a feeling there's going to be a LOT of interactivity options with these figures. It's kind of like Hasbro went back to the PCC concept and decided to do the combiner aspect right this time (no more character-less drone limbs, etc.).
totally correct. so all they needed was a name for a non-descript black decepticon car, ala blackjack (a micromaster i believe).chuckdawg1999 wrote:If you remember G1 Motormaster came with a car drone that became the chest so I think using Blackjack is an homage to that unless it turns out that Blackjack can be either chest armor or a gun. Powerglide too.
everyones hoping this is the beginning of a line of combiners. theres speculation that wildrider and slingshot were replaced by a helicopter and suv specifically to re-purpose them for future combiners.dalekslayer96 wrote:Holy... This is awesome! We finally have an updated version of Superion and Menasor! What about Predaking (The combiner) and Defensor though...?

Indeed, I did not remember that (I never had the Stunticons anyway). That's a nice little detail for Hasbro to carry forward. That makes the vibe about these upcoming combiners all the better. Hasbro really seems to care about doing these right by G1 fans.

Now here's the thought I had today, did the cartoon have the chest plate?

In that case, I'm hoping that we get all combiners ever shown throughout all of the Transformers in this line.

I know they look wonderful and all, but that's around the same price as a 3rd party combiner for 4 bots and a cardboard playset ($75 per figure for a Deluxe those doing the math). Did anyone here actually put in a preorder for that? I can't see too many people paying that much (or more) to snag a set on ebay so if the sellout was due to the scalpers, I suspect they'll be in for a rude awakening in this case unless I'm very much mistaken and you guys are willing to pay that much $ for this set.

Will we get Seacons? Because if we do, then Hasbro is getting all of my money!
(Also it would be kinda cool if they did Tentakil as a fembot, like his BWN redeco Scylla- not G1 accurate in the slightest, but come on, it's a squid girl -de geso! Or heck, how about a robot Frank. N. Furter?)
