Also, while not directly Tokusatsu related, TOHO has revealed two members of the production staff for their upcoming new Godzilla project:
The film will be written by Hideaki Anno, a long-time animator best known for the series Neon Genesis Evangalion.
The film’s director (and special effects expert) is Shinji Higuchi, a veteran of several previous project- including the 1990’s GAMERA trilogy.

Am I the only person hoping for a reboot series with a 40-50 episode run with a bigger budget?

Well, keeping with the trend of combining Ultramen with Kaiju, we got an Ultra who can adopt armor based on/created from robotic Kaiju? Or some variation thereof?

Yeah, I do like this new design though, the head is very nostalgic for me as it looks a lot like a fusion of The Next and Tiga.

It was a 1997 live action/CGI show that was kind of like an attempt to cross Power Rangers with Transformers while cashing in on the popularity of the CGI cartoons of the time like Beast Wars and ReBoot.
Here's a review of the show overall:

Those clicky-clacks of ratchety goodness.
Personally I always wished I could find and buy the DaiBouken figure and it's accompanying units. Boukenger/Operation Overdrive's mecha rank up there in my top five series for the zords. For anybody interested: 1: Gekiranger, 2: Gaoranger, 3: Abaranger, 4: Boukenger, 5: GoGo-V (Magiranger and Dekaranger deserve a honorary mention for their designs, even if the individual zords were sub-par)

what condition do you want the boukenger mecha in? i currently have daibouken and vehicles 6-10 loose, and i actually want them MIB so i'm planning to sell them in the future and get examples with a box.

Well, preferably I'd like them in good condition, tight parts, and including all accessories. Not sure I'd be able to get them from you though, parents and all that crap.

Into the Save section of my queue, in other words, some heroic person got the discs and burned them and nobody wanted to be the person to order the replacements.

Don't forget die cast! Numbers 1 (Variblune) through 10 (Flash King), and 22 (Gingaioh) through 26 (Senpujin) were released as genuine Popynica and Chougokin, while the rest up to Abaren'oh had some degree of die cast metal as well. Try handling the combined GouraiSenpujin, that sucker's HEAVY!
I can't say from experience though, I only have the US Samurai Megazord plus the Beetle-, Swordfish- and Tigerzord. We never got the rest

i can say i have, and gouraisenpuujin is ridiculously heavy.
though some of the larger mechs like daivoyager and ushi origami can be quite heavy too, while mostly being plastic.

Gotta love electronics, eh? Well, to a degree, as long as it doesn't comprise the design.

there were a couple of them in the Super Robot Chogokin line, but they're just action figures, no gattai whatsoever.
in fact, i like that they're all bricks, it gives them a certain charm. shurikenjin with his movable hips and knees is one of the most articulated DX mechs in a long time, and that's mostly for his combination with the 3rd-quarter carrier mech. throne-ception pretty much

It would be nice if it used all the trains but it leaves a bunch behind with no where to go.
