I did some excavating tonight. I wanted to round up all my missing MP stuff (namely 1-7) and found everything except my Takara Sunstorm box. At least, I think that's all that's left. And the crown jewels, MP1 and the Seekers were all in the the very bottom of the very last box of course 8-}

But DAMN what a trip down memory lane. check out what this one container had in it! This was when putting together the best C/G display was my goal.

And MP1, he's such a good figure still. I have the first Hasbro release. The box is pretty snazzy.

It is snazzy. Now that I'm backtracking I have 2 (maybe 3 depending how hardcore I want to be) Hasbro MP1's to buy. Not only are they surprisingly expensive, but they're confusing too. They're both called "20th Anniversary" OP, but were released 3 years apart :???:

Friday and Saturday were good to me. The mailman brought me some hands and feet for my UW Compy, and a delightful local fella from Kijiji gave me a killer deal on some older Hasbro MP's who are both minty and sealed. So much so that I'm having a hard time finding the strength to open them up 8-}

I remember the same stuff with Katrina. Granted it was a horrible disaster. They predicted tens of thousands of deaths when in reality only roughly 2000 people died. Which is still a lot.

The news media wants to keep you glued to the screen so they sensationalize a lot I think.

Woo hoo!! I remember picking up Skywarp for pretty cheap ($40?) and then a few months later he was on clearance for $25!! That MP1 is what really jumpstarted the collection bug back in the day. Big time.

Since you also have the WalMart version, which one do you prefer? I was attempting to clean mine this weekend and realized it's really a wash of paint over it isn't it?
