His size might fit the part, but not his aesthetics.megatronus wrote:Grimlock, at least, is more or less Classics scale and fits there (that will absolutely not change with PotP Grimlock, yeesh)
You mean 36? But that Hotrod! And he's so small!megatronus wrote:I've always had trouble fitting Rodimus in. Especially now with the new MP, the 09 mold feels redundant.
I transformed my original a couple times, and while he was fiddly I wasn't afraid of breaking him. I got the re-release eventually but only opened and posed him. The Hasbro one however, broke without me even trying to transform himmegatronus wrote:Second, an aesthetically pleasing yet combustible mold is not aesthetically pleasing to me. I'm scared I'm going to break something, so I would never transform him anyway.
Honestly, I don't like much about Hasbro Rod. His darker red and grey face just kill it for me. I much prefer the brighter Takara version.megatronus wrote:He's in robot mode all the time, he will necessarily be in the back of any display, making the non-black/grey legs a nonissue to me (besides, I prefer the Hasbro face - IF I'm going to make a pre-MP10 exception, it helps to have a face that fits in!).
Ahhh. Yes. I see now why you would sell themmegatronus wrote:Finally, in the scheme of scaling down collections, selling sealed MP09s makes for an attractive financial proposition.
So you have the ragrets then?megatronus wrote:But, dammit... if I were to keep my Hasbro version, he does need his black doppelgänger. That's the only one I had ever handled, and boy was he a beauty.
Cobotron wrote:Hey! You seemed to have attracted a wild Megatronus. They're hard to find, but boy are they fun when you catch one!
bodrock wrote:I gotta say I never thought I'd ever see Roddy as a leader till the IDW comics! He's perfect as a leader you'd either be HasBros with or someone you'd never take seriously. ;p

I'm an expert in TF's and TF's only. All I did was search for a modern Veritech with the biggest size, and behold a 1:48 from some line piloted by some guy!bodrock wrote:But OG MP "Jetfire"?? AWESOME
Octane is one I've never handled that I'll need to hunt down someday. And you can get the Clear Blue Reissue OST quite easily and cheaply!bodrock wrote:I still need thise two tapes, Shaj. I brought home G1 Octane & Ratbat today from my parents' house. I wish the Transformers OST had come home for me.![]()
I know nothing of vinyls lol. I know that reissue can be found easily/cheaply on eBay, but I'm sure there's reputable online stores that'd be better. I'd suggest you go a'googlinbodrock wrote:I think I'll hunt down dat OST reissue, Shaj.![]()

Yeah. I just couldn't. He had it listed as pending for 10 bucks, and I told him right off the bat that it was worth more than that. And honestly, its still worth more than I paid. But hey, he did better with me than he would have on his ownCobotron wrote:So Giga Storm was a Beast Wars 2 or Neo thing, eh? That's a Korean Sonokong release right?
