I transformed my original a couple times, and while he was fiddly I wasn't afraid of breaking him. I got the re-release eventually but only opened and posed him. The Hasbro one however, broke without me even trying to transform him

Honestly, I don't like much about Hasbro Rod. His darker red and grey face just kill it for me. I much prefer the brighter Takara version.

I like small Hot Rod! Especially with how he fits in with the other cars. He'll just never be a leader to me.

Grimlock fits in fine - especially lately, with the way so many of the newer Generations toys give off a Masterpiece Junior aura. Only thing missing is the chrome.

I gotta say I never thought I'd ever see Roddy as a leader till the IDW comics! He's perfect as a leader you'd either be HasBros with or someone you'd never take seriously. ;p

LOL - Rodimus, a total HasBro.

I had a lovingly sheltered view of Hotrod/Rodimus Prime as a child.

I basically only ever saw Season 1 and the movie as a child. I had the VHS's of Season 1 somehow, and rented the movie virtually every chance I got
Anyways, I never saw Hotrod as "the reason" that Optimus died like so many apparently do. And he kicked some major ass in the movie. I was sad to see so many deaths, but I also loved all the new characters. So I pretty much just bought into it. The movie said "Hotrod is the leader now" and I was like "oh ok"

As an adult however, I got the full series through the Rhino DVD's, and... yeah... Season 3.... I hated it. Especially Rodimus and Grimlock. Over time though, it's grown on me and I now see Roddy as "learning the ropes/going through a learning curve" as opposed to whiny. I mean, he WAS filling the biggest shoes ever after all. I still hate Grimlock though

A 90% sealed Squaktalk/Beastbox, 4th and last TFTM OST Vinyl, PE PMOP Upgrades, and what I'd call an MP G1 Jetfire







All versions (I'm aware of) TFTM OST Vinyl. Original, Clear Blue Reissue, Clear Red/Purple Record Store Day Exclusive, and I'm hazy on the last. It first surfaced at the last Botcon, and is typically only found in the UK

And then there was this oddity....

It's a bubble envelope.. with some poorly cut sticker.. and nothing else.
It has my name on it, another name crossed out that's very similar to my name, and an address very similar to mine (but not actually mine), no return address, labelled as "gift".

Uhhhh..... wut?

That last package is definitely an oddity...!

But OG MP "Jetfire"?? AWESOME

I still need thise two tapes, Shaj. I brought home G1 Octane & Ratbat today from my parents' house. I wish the Transformers OST had come home for me.

Octane is one I've never handled that I'll need to hunt down someday. And you can get the Clear Blue Reissue OST quite easily and cheaply!

Squawkbox is FREE! He looks so G1 -- it's a beautiful thang. Just like that real-deal Veritech! I still have a soft-spot for Robotech/Macross -- and a tattoo to prove it lol.

I think I'll hunt down dat OST reissue, Shaj.

I know nothing of vinyls lol. I know that reissue can be found easily/cheaply on eBay, but I'm sure there's reputable online stores that'd be better. I'd suggest you go a'googlin

Surprise haul! Giga from Kijiji and Primus off eBay.

I got Giga off Kijiji. Guy was asking 10 bucks.... I'm honestly not blowing smoke up my own ass, but I gave him 60 cause that was ridiculous. Box is rough, incomplete, and horn is bent, but the figure itself is perfect.

Primus is sealed... and happily cost less than retail! Straight retail (converted) is about 220, and I got him 170 shipped. Only thing is the moron literally wrapped it in paper and put a stamp on it. Luckily I'm only a diva about boxes with my MP's lol. And my gawd I love this figure





Also I got Metroid Collectors Edition! I think the back of the case is different from the standard release cause it has art instead of promo junk. And It has a flipside of the OG Gameboy game!

Yeah. I just couldn't. He had it listed as pending for 10 bucks, and I told him right off the bat that it was worth more than that. And honestly, its still worth more than I paid. But hey, he did better with me than he would have on his own
