I've been looking around for some info on how to go about fixing his tilted head with no results. Anybody have a link or a how to on fixing it? It adds an interesting touch but still, it's a mold defect and I would like to fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is this specific to yours or was this a production run issue?

I might need a picture to even begin on this one.

I believe it's a production run issue? I might be wrong but I have heard others complain about it. I could probably just try taking it apart and figuring it out myself but I really don't wanna screw up a figure I paid a large premium (after-market prices) for.

The head is cocked very slightly to the right or as we're seeing it, to the left.

Doing a little inspecting, I don't think the issue can be fixed without intensive modding to the head assembly. The head is attached to a "plate" it swivels on by a pin with a flat end. I have tried removing the screw at the back of the head to remove his light piping section. That piece is either glued or very stubborn, it's secured very well. I was hoping to remove that to perhaps get a better view of any molding defect. So with that, my ideas are exhausted.

I would expect that inside Prime's head, on the left side, there is a small piece of flash that causes his head to not sit straight. Removing the head and looking around would probably show where the tipping point was, however, in my opinion it would not be worth doing so.

That was my guess too. However, with no real way of removing the head or even dismantle it slightly, I can't do anything about it. It's nothing I couldn't live with. I just wanted to fix it if possible. I keep revisiting older figures and projects (opening and stickering reissues/minor fixes/cleaning and readying G1 figures for new stickers and so on) since I have time to now, he was near the top of my list of things to get to. Completely off topic but TFC Skids is garbage lol. Stickers and all.

Ive disected a few classic prime molds for various customs and the head is a tricky bit to get to..You basically have to disassemble the entire torso area and the shoulders are a terrible pain to get back in..IMO not worth it

I think it looks kind of cool though :P

I had a discussion about taking one of these apart some time ago, maybe Likwid was involved! We concluded it was virtually impossible to take the head off.
