OK, ladies and germs, the war is coming to a close shortly.

The final mission will be #130500.

That is the last eligible mission to make a capture and where the counting will stop, the dust will settle on Decahex and we can finally assess the damage this war has done and find the results of the Neural Scanner tests.

Then you will have 24 hours to bag and tag your captees.

Mission 130500 is expected late tonight (US time). When it does appear we will try and post a 24 hour warning that we are preparing to lock the Capturing thread. Once that is done we will add up the final scores and announce the winners as quickly as we possibly can for you. This may take a bit of time so please be patient.

We all sincerely hope you have enjoyed the game, and would like your ideas on how well you think it worked, whether you would be willing to try this again and any changes you think would improve it.

Enjoy these last few hours, for many of you they may be your last... :twisted:

Well the Plundercons turned out to be Blundercons. Providing nothing more than meat shields and cannon fodder. Just like I promised lol, I had a lot of fun anyway.

Ah... the end! Finally, no more stressing over checking each and every mission to record the kills. No more frustration at posting a capture, only to have Potentate post a new capture minutes later! Although I spent a large part of the holidays away from a computer, I still have a pretty large cache of kills on N_V's team which I never got to cash in...

It was a fun game, guys! Thanks to the mods for organizing it all, and good luck with sorting out the score!

Though I did stop about 12 hours before the end for personal reasons.

i'd like to thank and congratulate you guys. hell of a job on this tourney.

the set up and premise behind it all were very well orchestrated. (no matter what alldarker might say behind your backs in the iacon forum

In all seriousness guys, we are open to feedback and criticism.

For me personally I thought we were missing something, like people. Not sure how we could have gotten more people involved as we pushed the game in the News.

So if anyone has ideas, throw them out there.

What an incredible ending to the game, the final scores are so close... :shock:

We don't actually need the 24 hours for tagging as Potentate got the last kill (remind me not to doublecross you too many times!) so Ill put the final touches to the end game article and get that up as soon as I can.

Yes, it was very fun, even though my play-time was more sporadic than I expected, hence, I didn't get any captures to help the effort. :oops:

I did have some nice lists and was one kill short of about 2-3 captures. I would have loved to throw a Psychout capture down, but I missed by one kill.

i'll tell you what was hella amusing, as we're all sitting somberly in the ruins of the pub, recounting tales of the old bartender.. remembering his life and all he strived for... in comes the only mech with... uh, alternate accessories.. and guns down someone right there in front of everyone. ending the **** outta that ceasefire. hahaha

but of course i'm not gonna mention any names.. or give away the fact that it was the 8th post on the 16th page :lol:
