1) ok, i have to agree on that.
2) we could perfectly distinguish who was fighting who.
3) ok, those are neat, but transformers already have those abilities built in...
4) this is confusing, so i'll skip it.
5) I really don't care about this. when I saw Rotf, I went for the TRANSFORMERS, not the humans.
6) it was a great movie, so shut up. plus, "in your minds, it's one of the worst movies of the year."
I also was never into GI Joes (mind you I am reasonalbly younger, but I'm staying with RotF all the way!

that is the whole point of this article.. sell Gi Joe, because it has humans in it, and they are unable to fathom that the younger, and Transformers fans are able to identify with these robot characters, whereas they are not.. the casual fan can not identify whose who out of a line up, WTF ever!!
these people are just pissed because we all came to a rationalization...
with Transformers ROTF, we see how much America Loves a good ride, and how esoteric and OUT OF TOUCH, these idiot movie critics are these days..
if it doesn't have some Global warming, liberal, social justice commentary, or at least some fully human emotional crying and acting, then it sucks in their eyes..
and yeah no, Megan Fox is hot, sure she's a Bee-otch, but she's still hot..
This article is so transparent.. I mean they get right back into a defensive posture about their crappy review and stance on ROTF.. and yeah it may have some issues.. and such, but it made tons of money and has tons of fans who can't wait to see more..
Star Wars the Empire Strikes back was hailed as a failure too, until Return of the Jedi made the latter make sense.. so I'm waiting for TF3 to see what Orci and Kurtzman come up with to tie up any loose ends from TF1 and TF2.
Incidentally, I posted this on their site!

It is lightyears better than Bayformers 1, not to mention RotF. I really don't know the names of more than 10 GIJoe figures, but the main cast looked much better and faithful to originals than the Bayformer cast. The actress who plays Scarlett is the hottest actress in years, Megan Fox can go to a mine to dig coal behind her.
Spoiler Ahead:
Rise of Cobra has a great story, every sidestory explained (the only too quick sidestory is the main villain's)
Machine designs: Much better, although the Accelerator Suit seemed unneccesary at first sight, its scenes were worth it;
I wonder what the suits and the other machine designers could do to the Transformers to make them look better armored and not the wire-y Bayformer designs. A reboot of Transformers movies with similar designs would be welcomed by me.
The humor in the movie were in perfect places, and not like the childish idiotism in the Bayformers.
The only negative point is the lips on Snake Eyes' costume, they look like the same designer who made the Batman Forevers costume made it...
Still it is a 10/10 movie. Awaiting the sequel!

I think the movie going to do well. I don't think it will do as well as ROTF as in the money it earned. We'll see how it goes I'm just hoping it doesn't flop.

Sure, I'll grant that Prime's fight with Megs and The Fallen lasted less than a minute (I timed it) but I'm sorry, Prime vs 3 Decepticons was an action scene of pure awesome, unparalleled by anything I've seen in recent memory. It was straight out badass!
As for the Joe movie, since I'm three hours from the nearest movie theater, I'll be going on Saturday, since I know that there's no way I can get off work tomorrow, head down to see it and STILL beat the opening night rush, but the second day I might have a chance.
Toy reviews on YouTube? Don't mind if I do!
I build model kits on Twitch, too!

Nah, I liked both the movies. They could've been little better, but also could've been a whole lot worse. They captured most of what Transformers is, even if the first one felt like a big commercial for Chevy and the second one mucked with the 13 mythology for no good reason. GI Joe on the other hand dosn't look anything at all like the show and toys it comes from. Take away Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and it looks like any cheesy action movie. But we'll see.

All I'm saying is, worldwide audiences may and I do mean "may" not welcome them as much as the Transformers. Transformers ROTF has had a substantial success worldwide and I think GI Joes has a lot of convincing to do.
GI Joe was re-branded as part of Action Force in the UK. I know that the comics were reprinted there as such, but I know nothing about whether the cartoon was or not.

And also those who say they're joe fans and go see the movie, afterwards say that it sucks and give their BS reasons, aren't joe fans at all and should also be taken to a remote location and be shot.
Because only REAL FANS love every aspect of a corporate franchise.

This is a very good point that i never concidered till now. This alone might garrantee that the Joe's won't hold water to ROTF number wise.
For me, i will (like ROTF) go in with an open mind. Though i haven't been impressed with what i've seen. I saw an extended clip with the excelerator suits....
....And i wasn't impressed. I see nothing that reminds me of the Original series. I'm holding out hope that we'll get some bad ass vehicles to make up for this aspect of the film, and the battle between Snakes/Storm Shadow and Scarlet/Baroness is legendary. Not sure if it will hold up to the forest battle, but one can hope.
Suck my popsicle!! :p

One of the things that I really don't like about the movie is that they made the team an international force backed by NATO. Hence why all the Joes aren't American and the Cobra agents aren't all bored/spoiled Eurotrash.

1. G.I. Joe is not a sequel. I don't think people are going to expect 2 much(around here). Come on, think about it, sequels most recently haven't been living up 2 their potential(Batman proves to be an exception, but that's 2008).
2. In Transformers, there's only one main hot chick, Megan Fox.....but in G.I. Joe, There's two hot chicks that both wear tight leather. Now if that's not sexy 4 you, there's something wrong with your sexual orientation if u r a straight guy.
