With the latest review of Rising Storm we can definitely say that the red Ferrari will be Mirage. Take a look at this page:

Well, I can't say I'm suprised it's Mirage. I mean, Bayverse colour schemes are never accurate, so a red car is the perfect replacement for a blue and white one, right?
Maybe his ability will be switched to make him MORE visible?
Alright, I'm done. In all seriousness, I'm glad it's Mirage, as I would rather have an homage to a major G1 character than some made-up or barely there character like Skids and Mudflap.
So, did I miss out, or is the 'Q' bot going to be Wheeljack?
I'm so pumped for this movie. July 1st cannot come fast enough!

He's in the comic, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's the red Ferrari. We'll see when the movie comes out.

At this point I believe its still speculation as to the Q bot being Wheel Jack. Though the face in the comic is nothing like the "Einstien" face we've seen during filming. The Face in the comic is more G1 like.
I have to say i wasn't expecting this. I was figuring the Ferrari was Hotrod. I'd be lieing if didn't say i was a little disapointed to here this. But oh well. At least he's something with some racing hearitage.

Don't forget that Shockwave also looks very G1 in the comics and he has a complete different look in the movie.
