I am a teacher, well, that's what the papers say I am. But I had to decide wether I want to draw or teach and I'm in the luxury position that I could choose. So I choose drawing/designing.
Both teaching and drawing for a living are fun, but for teaching you need to be very level-headed from time to time. That can be challenging. For what I currently do, I don't even need to wear pants if I don't want to. Which is great.

I really do enjoy the teaching side, it's the admin stuff that takes me down at university.
I do think, however, that teaching after primary and secondary/high school is a whole other bucket of stuff. Not sure I'd venture back into secondary teaching again after working with uni students.

I'm not sure about hardened criminals, but for most people, having one's head removed from one's body usually leaves someone incapable of feeling any kind of trauma...because he'd be dead.

Which begs the question: How many flying heads to you see on average and do you ever make headmaster jokes?
