Speaking of upgrade kits; has anyone seen anything bouts an IDW/cygar head for SS86 Kup? That is what I have been waiting on. Other than his head, Kup is pretty awesome.

I saw these pics posted by a few people on Twitter and it looks like the Sweep has not been changed at all from Scourge.

I get it, but that’s still disappointing to me…
Now I have to start asking myself if it’s worth it to get 2 of these & keep my preorder through Amazon or not.
I still love the idea of having Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge, & 2 Sweeps on a shelf together… But that $60 for 2 figures that are identical to Scourge is going to have me reconsidering for a while.
Recently I’ve started having second thoughts about The Ark… If I decide to pass on him, I get both Sweeps for sure…
But who knows. Thankfully there’s time to think it over.

Anyone want to share their thoughts on Sweep being identical?
Again, I know why this has happened… They all look the same in the movie.
But thoughts on if you’d purchase or pass on this one?

Are we sure that's the exact same headsculpt? It looks like they both have open mouths with teeth showing, but it's hard to tell because the pic is so blurry.

Is it just me or is the center portion of the chest below the chin on the Sweep darker than on Scourge? Could be lighting, but looking at a bunch of Scourge photos I can't find any that are as dark as that. Maybe they're trying a G1 thing where the two Scourge figures look like they'd be identical until you have them side by side.

I was really hoping the Sweeps would've been different from Scourge. For Animation-Purists, they already had Scourge to armybuild, so it would've made sense for the Sweeps to at least have different facial hair.

Or if they really wanted to try something wacky, there could've been three or so different heads that assembled at random, creating a slightly more varied armybuilder.

Maybe they'll re-release Scourge as a Targetmaster and we can have a more interesting main Scourge.

Studio Series is all about accurate screen likeness, so I'm not surprised that there aren't any deco changes--there shouldn't be. I would have preferred a slightly different head sculpt since that's already something they've done with the seekers, but this is fine, it still works. I'm only planning to get two, so I'm not looking for variation.

I'd find this Sweep more bothersome if Scourge hadn't just come and gone from the shelves in an instant (or simply never made it to the shelves at all) the way he did.

I really thought a new face sculpt was going to be a given, with slightly varied facial hair being a possibility as well.
I only saw Scourge twice, so this is good that people who missed out have another chance at him.

And great news about Slag being found in-store…
Amazon’s delivery date is currently October 5th, so finding him even at the end of this month would be a nice surprise.

Hey curious as to when the repack of Kup is suppose to happen... October? November?
I've decided to get him, and while Amazon currently has him listed for $19.99, I'm going to wait and hope that there's some sort of sale somewhere at some point that will allow me to get him for a bit cheaper.

Yep that's why I don't order from them unless it's a big chunk and they're at better prices

Otherwise I stick with BBTS and Amazon. And Amazon will probably have some discounts down the line either way, I saw Paleotrex on there for like $14 the other day. SS86 deluxes shouldn't be far behind

I have a stack with them rn for kingdom rodimus, gigawatt, dna Magnus upgrade and ss86 Slug since I'll probably end up saving over all and I didn't want to leave Slug or rodimus to chance. Especially since he's expensive af on Amazon rn

I'm hoping to find Slag in-store soon just because I'm so excited to have him next to Grimlock.
But for whatever reason(s) the distribution to my area has been really poor for a while, so I won't be surprised if I just end up waiting for my preorders to show up.

Agreed, and it's always the ones I want most that are way more expensive haha
I have yet to see any leader ss86 figures I'm my area, distribution isn't great here either except with the Netflix figures. Those I've luckily seen pretty consistently. Slowly getting more kingdom wave 1 and 2 than before but not much

So far I've been sticking with pre-orders too. Especially with leader and commander class

I guess I shouldn't complain; I did find Grimlock in a store, and later saw a few at a different one.
But since then, it's been slim around here for sure.
This week I'll make a least a few stops by stores to see. Especially at Target; last time I was there the TF section was more organized than it's ever been, and it just looked like they were ready to put out more product.
Amazon really has come through for me, although I don't buy as much as others and I know people have had some legitimately frustrating issues with them.
