There is a digibash of Leader class Earthrise/Kingdom Optimus Prime on Twitter that is meant to be a "what if" idea for the Studio Series 86 Commander class Optimus Prime, complete with a fake mock-up design for the packaging.

If you see or come across this pic and find people thinking it's a leaked look at the SS86 Commander, know that it is NOT REAL at all and just a fanmade digibash.

It's very obviously a digi-bash.

The chest is badly cut off where it meets the abs.

The lower legs are very poorly cut out and pasted.

The gun is from the Centurion set, and the Trailer is the MP trailer if I' not mistaken as is the axe I think.

Just a mishmash of parts.

Those lower legs are just sad. The box mockup up is pretty decent though.

But yeah, not real, at all.

His face is pale tan, not dark brown.

Also, he have some small transformation differences compared to his previous two moldmates. Like how the feet and arms peg in for the bike mode.

I don't think we will ever see Blaster in SS86. A new one I mean.
So if the news is right, it will only be a "cartoon deco" and will come with Eject like the original. Maybe that Eject will not be in clear plastics this time around.

His cassettes are properly coming in the core class at least. starting with the yellow cat thing that I don't remember the name.

I mean, Kingdom and the Legacy rerelease are still easily obtainable for no more than retail.
Even Twincast is easy to get.

I’d much rather they’d get around to Sunstreaker, since he wasn't the easiest to get during Earthrise.

And yes, if that Blaster follow the trend of the previous "toon accurate" SS86 toys from the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line, Eject will be in the same opaque blue plastic as the cassette door.

The only way to do that is to get rid of the clear plastics part. Especially when that clear plastic is dark blue. So the only way to fix the mismatching yellow is to have the windshield piece be cast in the same opaque yellow plastic as the rest of the bot, then paint the car's windows and windshield in dark blue.

Personally I'm not a big fan of all the black on the boom box mode (knobs and sliders are fine, but not those weird zigzag stripes) or the blue chest window. I think he'll look better if they replace all the black with dark gray.

Unless they make all the windows opaque like the Deadites Prowl and Ironhide, not sure its likely to match any better then the previous release.

But given we've gotten opaque versions of many figures already including Kup and Hot Rod, I can say it's very likely to happen that way.

I'd rather have translucent windows over perfectly matched paint, though that may just be me. I can understand if they go the opaque route for SS'86, and would still pick it up.

Probably powered blue given the animated cell shaded look they've been going for with SS-86 now.
