Check out the portion of the scale chart below.

Notice how Ironhide and Ratchet are at the height of the bottom of Prime’s windshield.
The mid-sized cars like Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Prowl, etc. are maybe, maybe just above Prime’s waist.
In the lower right section, you can see Inferno and Grapple are over a head shorter than Prime…
The only non-Dinobot Autobot that’s close to OP is Blaster.
And he’s not on this specific chart image, but I believe Springer is one of the few who is as tall as Prime.
As far as I knew, the leaders of the combiners were the others, but I’m not exactly sure of that.

Blaster is cut off - I wonder if that's how they decided to make him the same size?

Actually, I found the full chart and he's not even lined up right on the sheet they literally copy/pasted them on. He looks to be about the same size as Prime on the sheet, even though he definitely was shoulder height on the show. Soundwave, though is the correct size, even on the scale guide.

If this is what they used, though, then I guess I have to recant because that's what's on the paper.

Okay, so I don’t think any of the Dinobots “ran off” on their hind legs.
Slag reared back on his hind legs as they were being attacked…
It’s no different than when you’d see an elephant do the same thing.
I don’t think it would be as realistic for a brontosaurus to do this just because of their overall body mass.
But in the grand scheme, who cares?

I also don’t think any of them ran off on their hind legs…
It’s called perspective;
their front legs are higher in the composition because they’re supposed to be further away.

In the still above, Slag is just close to Grimlock; I don’t believe they’re actually embracing each other;
They’re just really close in proximity.

All the movement in this scene is supposed to add to the tension and anxiousness of being attacked when the Decepticons aren’t anywhere in the frame.
I also think the running off was part of the plot and getting the Autobots to the shuttles;
otherwise, think about it—
The Dinobots are such badasses, I think they would’ve preferred to hold their ground and fight.

Now that pre-orders for the last few Studio Series toys of the year have gone up on Pulse UK, I've pre-ordered Ultra Magnus (which is shipping from 22nd September) and Ratchet (shipping from 27th October), and also bought Frenzy because he's available to ship now. I'm really looking forward to having these three, Ratchet in particular has been a long time coming because it's been more than a year since I sold my Earthrise Ratchet and Lifeline set on Ebay.

I remember Ironhide sold out after less than a day as well, and Brawn did pretty quickly too. Really goes to show how popular this sub-line continues to be.

Regardless, all of these are just regular releases so they will be available everywhere sooner or later.
The exclusives on the other hand...

Also, I find this pretty unfair that when ordering from Pulse, a Canadian have no choice but to pay 25$US of shipping, no matter what he buy. This make my SG Sideswipe and Rodimus pretty damn expensive. But still cheaper than AliExpress at least.

That sounds awful. Pulse UK offers free postage for any order over £50, but the courier they use, Yodel, are hands down the worst courier service I've ever had to deal with. More than once they've sent my package to a different address, they don't update tracking info very often so I'm left clueless as to how far off the courier is, and their phone lines are fully automated so it's nearly impossible to contact someone when something goes wrong (which it often does).

but, I do want to add a note here, it may be western PA, but it's noticeable: There are STILL Blurrs, Kups, Wheelies, and Junkheaps on walmart and target shelves here, and they have recently been joined by Sludge and Ironhides sticking around. It's noticeable because characters like The Fallen (Sludge's case mate) and AOE Galvatron have moved, but left the SS86 guys behind.

Also, they are there with Bee movie Ravage, Shockwave, Arcee, and Ironhide. Those 4 are everywhere in droves, and will not move.

My local walmart got in cases of TLK Crosshairs and Hot Rod, and those sold and left behind more Arcees and Ironhides.

Again, it's my area, and a pretty wide area of PA I scan/drive at that, but considering the only 2023 releases i've seen are Cheetor and Battletrap, and there are still 2021 toys on shelf, it's a bit of a retail headache

There is usually doubt to a figure's price point being deserved, so hopefully the new images below help you see how different the new Ultra Magnus figure is to the previous leader class version from Earthrise. We also see him next to leader class Grimlock from the 86 line, where we see he is indeed even taller than him. You'll let us know what you think of the size.

The images below come from Ronerus79 on Reddit and Supreme Unicron, a TF fan from Holland, who posted the images on the TFW2005 boards along with his following first impressions:

Had a couple of hours with him so far. First impressions: He's pretty awesome. He's big and chunky. Articulation is fantastic, really only "lacking" an ab crunch. Light piping is fantastic.
I really like the transformation. It's an improvement on the MP's transformation. Lots of little steps to ensure the trailer looks more solid and less like a pair of legs. (did people know the cab can separate?)
Really only the wide -ness is a thing the MP does better, that figure has better overall proportions, but much less articulation.

Last version of this guy I'll ever be convinced to get. Although, looking back, I kinda wish I had gotten the Titanium as a "mini me". He looks really beefy next to the Kingdom one. At least this time the improvement between releases is VAST.

I'm still getting it. You all know that's my man.

However, I have to say, he's wildy - WILDLY -out of scale. I've even seen an uncharacteristic return of people to the usually ill received Kingdom figure, which I found...striking.

Probably, I will transform this one into truck mode and keep Kingdom as the robot as the size is just too out of whack for me, but ask me again when he's actually out and in hand.

The size is definitely impressive. I would like to see him standing next to either Jetfire or Menasor.

However, I have and like Kingdom Magnus, so much so that he's not going anywhere if I decide to get SS86 Magnus. I do think he's a bit too tall, he should be same height as Grimlock, which the Kingdom figure is close enough.

I guess this will be an in-hand decision, assuming I ever see him in a store.
