-Kanrabat- wrote:After transforming the SS86 Ultra Magnus, I can say that I'm VERY impressed.
If it would be the "MP Magnus 2.0", I wouldn't be surprised. Everything feel solid and the bot is more posable than he should logically be.
My only complaint are his horns. Why are they separate pieces? They pop off all the time and that's really annoying. I know it's to prevent breakage, but still. They could have been made out of hard rubber and be glued onto his head.
Appart the horns thing, I say that Commander Magnus is worth the full price and may be the best Commander after Armada Optimus Prime.

The one issue I have is that one of his guns is a bit bent, slightly annoying with how expensive this toy was, but I don't mind too much because I don't intend on selling him off any time soon:

I mean is there any real risk of those breaking?
Even during transformation?

The gun instead of pinwheel axe is cool. Design looks like one of the background junkions from the movie if im not mistaken.

Fun fact: The figure that Hasbro released under the name of "Junkheap" is actually named "Junkyard", but due to trademark issues, Hasbro couldn't use his real name, and so went with "Junkheap" as a trademarkable alternative.Sowndwave76 wrote:I’m probably getting him.
I like the figures they’ve retooled from Wreck-gar.
In fact, I may like Junkheap more.
And this guy looks to be just as good.

Hero Alpha wrote:Scrapheap is the best looking junkion so far I say. Just better looking all around to me, but not worth 100$, which when I looked was what the bids/price was. Even to get it this early.

He does look good. Anxious to see how the cycle mode is different from the other two.
But uhhh, yeah…. No voyager, or even leader class figure is worth $100.
I don’t care how far in advance it is.

I guarantee it isn't collectors bidding on it, it's reviewers trying to be the first.

Also, what do people think about the first one with Prowl and Ironhide in terms of how that did with sales? I thought it was a bit soon to go on a 50% off clearance, and assume that means those didn’t sell all that well.
Nope, no such rumors at this time.Sowndwave76 wrote:Has there been any word or substantial rumor that Brawn and Ratchet will get released as a “dying” 2-pack? I don’t really care either way, just curious.

It doesn't. Everything from over the Summer is on clearance. It IS rare that a Transformers item goes on Clearance, but I think it's just time for the fall reset.

Has there been a Buzzworthy figure that didn't go on clearance somewhere after a few months? I can't think of one (aside from the ones that were super hard to find).

That's not the toy that is worth over 100$.
It's the early access.

Thats why I had the, "Even to get it this early", on there. Like others said, prolly people from the utubes.

That's the only valid reason.
Still, I'm not ruling out those who REALLY want the thing only for themselves.

I dont even consider that valid. And, no I'm not one of those bidding on it.

How is being the early bird for a youtube reviewer to snatch all those views in advance not a valid reason?
