I'm just riffing on the current trend of super toon accuracy "to a fault" of the MP line.leokearon wrote:But the Action Masters had more possibility (granted just knee joints) and had their partners.carytheone wrote:Wow these look surprisingly good, with some sharp AF paint decos, but a little smaller than expected. Will be getting Soundwave for shrine reasons.
They are so G1 cartoon accurate, does that make these "Action Masterpiece" figures?

Wow that is somehow both shocking and unsurprising at the same time. I'm also shocked that FYE is still open!D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Saw one of these figures at my local FYE store, and holy cows they are tiny

There is a bit of novelty to the small size though. Did ya buy it?
Well the ReAction line's schtick is 3.75" figures. The price does seem pretty steep though. I've never really paid much attention to the line before, so I'm not sure what the other figures sold for. Seen several at Target over the years and never once looked at the price.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:No, I could not justify $20 for it.carytheone wrote:Wow that is somehow both shocking and unsurprising at the same time. The one of these that I may be interested in is Jazz. But that size, geez, I thought they would have been bigger

ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote::-x Grimlock's sword is wrong, it should be silver. These are cartoon-based, and in the cartoon the Dinobots' swords are silver like they were supposed to be before the change to soft plastic.
Well, only Grimlock and Snarl were shown to use theirs, but both were shown to be silver. Snarl used his in almost every episode he featured in, where he fired lasers from its tip. Grimlock used his in "Madman's Paradise" to swat away boulders.Seibertron wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote::-x Grimlock's sword is wrong, it should be silver. I'm trying to remember when the Dinobots used their swords in the G1 cartoon. Which episode was it again?

Ah, but see... 1. There is no question that in the cartoon, Rumble was the name attached to that color scheme and 2. so long as both color schemes are correctly portrayed it scarcely matters which scheme is packaged with which nameAshelehsA wrote:Surprised Grimlock's sword color in the thing being discussed here, instead of the usual character and his relation to what color he should be...........
Fixed that for you. Although even then, Blackarachnia and Tigatron haven't gotten the Roger Rabbit treatment.Judas_Warlord wrote:I think these are what all the Masterpieces made after MP-43 look like...can we even call them "Masterpieces" anymore at this point?Right now the Studio Series is taking over & for a whole lot less $$$.
