I sincerely doubt they would do Small Foot, what with the whole split ownership issue of the GoBots property. The old e-HOBBY set left the individual toys nameless, with a group bio that was worded ambiguously to only imply that the six were Tonka GoBots. It was the-now-no-longer-official Fun Pub who canonized the toys' intended identities.

I mean, I'd love for it to happen, but I really don't think it will.

i want to see the entire first 3 runs of the G1 characters and any repaints that were made as masterpieces
but seeing how we see only a couple a year it would take 20 years to get most of the main characters done

Glyph from Bumble and Howlback from Ravage are the only doable fembots from MP molds of 1984-1985 characters. Road Rage from Tracks, too, but she's already been done.

Rosanna and Flip Sides could be made from Rewind/Eject, but they're 1986 characters, so we'd have to wait on them.

Most G1-toy-based fembots were made from post-1985 toy designs.

Though, there is a female Devastator off in some unspecified universe, so the Titan class mold could serve that purpose.

Yep, a Fun Pub thing. In the final SG prose story, "Coalescence", SG Demolishor steps through a portal into a universe where a Devastator is destroying Crystal City, and whom the story's narration refers to as "she" and "her" several times. The scene is brief, though, and while the text is ambiguous I got the impression that either the Devastator or some force opposing her killed Demolishor shortly after his arrival.

I wouldn't mind some more Diaclone-based MP redecos/retools being made into fembots, though it's unlikely given that just about every Diaclone deco has an existing bio courtesy of Takara/e-HOBBY.

That said, if they retconned Sunstreaker Police Type out of existence and made the inevitable release of the police deco into a new character fembot, I'd buy that (assuming the retooling was Road Rage level or better).

Since Artfire is now out in the wild, how long does anyone suppose it'll be until we see Hauler?

Month or two? I'm surprised how quick they got out three variants of the mold already; so by that rate it surely shouldn't take long for Hauler.

There are still some left: Hoist, Trailbreaker, Skids and Crosscut have 2 to 4 color schemes each, including the TF decos. Not to mention all the e-Hobby original decos. And it's not just them FunPub has put some Diaclone decos to use as well.

Have we gotten any original characters from Masterpiece? As far as I'm aware all the recolours previously had characters assigned to the original toy version. Aside from Dark Rodimus, but...

Both of those are throwbacks to Diaclone toys. While the names were created for the MPs. The characters come from the Diaclone colors of the original Tracks and Wheeljack.

So far, we have yet to get a completely 100% original character for an MP that has no reference to previous toys.

The Sunstreaker mold may be the first, since he was not repainted into anything or anyone after being Sunstreaker in G1 and has only his red Diaclone version.

But none of the other Lamborghinis from G1 or Diaclone, have roof / windshield chests like Sunstreaker. We may just get his Red Diaclone self and then its up in the air, what other character they can repaint him into.

Technically though I was referring to any new character whether they're inspired by an old deco or not. So for instance Road Rage and Clamp Down are not new characters from MP as they were originally from E-Hobby; but Exhaust and Loud Pedal are new characters from MP as those decos (and for that matter, any name or personality conveyed) were not used in Transformers before. Very amusing coincidence in TFCC's Toxitron story notwithstanding.

To be fair, the decos that ended up as Exhaust and Loudpedal were featured in US fiction before, the former as an Easter Egg in the IDW Dreamwave comics, and the latter as the character Vivisect by FunPub. The Masterpiece characterizations are all new however. For that matter, so is MP-18B Bluestreak's (featuring a slight hint towards Diaclone no less), separate from the US silver Bluestreak.

So three "new" characters, or names at the very least, in total.

FWIW, after MP Loudpedal was revealed, the author of Toxitron's TCC prose story amended the story to change Vivisector's name to Loudpedal, so as to keep one consistent name across the board for that Diaclone-based deco.

So that dude Weibio who gets all the early scoops posted to actoys.net that after Sunstreaker and Dinobot, the next MP will be blaster (+2 cassettes) followed by Trailbreaker and then Twincast. It's Facebook news, so take it with a grain of salt.

Please please please please be true! I just got the Soundwave and cassettes reissue and Soundblaster recently and have been craving more official MP cassettes.

From what I heard, the 2 cassettes wouldn't be coming with Blaster, but would instead be a two-pack of their own like MP-15 and MP-16 were, with Blaster and Twincast each coming with one cassette each for a total of four between them all.

Although, Trailbreaker (and Hoist) was mentioned in the MP Sunstreaker design team interview, so there is that.

Most certainly, but the existence of both would drive down sales of each other. Some people would be very easily satisfied with Legends Blaster and would hence not care as much about the announcement of an MP Blaster as they would have.

Maybe, but I don't think so. MPs are targeted at a specific group/customer base. They won't be satisfied with legendsome Blaster. Plus, by they time this comes out, there will have been over a year of separation between the two.

Eh, depends on the person. Just in general it's usually not a good idea to release two figures that are very, very similar around the same time unless it's a big name like Optimus or Starscream.

While I would definitely welcome MP Blaster, I did just by the Legends version as an MP stand-in. So I'd rather have a few other MPs first before they release Blaster
