Zat avatar/sig of yours, is that a humanized Arcee?

It's not the face I'm talking about, it's the whole thing.
He was talking about the headsculpt. And, about the whole design of Megs, which part of him was innacurate to the show/movie/toy? Even 3rd party Apollyon and Hegemon borrowed heavily from the lanky original (only buffed up)

Agreed, but they took those ideas and did it right.
I do think they could've done better with MP Megs though if they had more time to work on it.
Ironhide definitely looks better than this Megs, but still I have higher priorities.
The Reveal the Shield Legends (Legion) class toy did it:fenrir72 wrote:That's what I mean, The base design of Megs is one of the iffyest. How the heck do you make a buffed figure in such a compacted alternate form? Arrgh!

This. So much this. And as fenrir72 said, be wary of slanted reviews. Heck, just go with my attitude and buy whatever you like, and if they don't turn out to be good figures, you can get rid of them.
Ironhide? He may not be perfect, but I'm quite happy with him. I don't get MP figures for the play value, I get them because they look good in the collection, and he looks good enough for me!

I actually would rather get that toy than MP Megatron.

I didn't say he's a bad figure, I just mean that I have to pick the best ones out of the bunch. I don't have any MPs yet, so it's quite hard for me to decide who to get first. Personally, I think I need to focus on the car bots first, and at least get whatever versions of the Lambor and Prowl molds I can. I also want Wheeljack, and a lot of others. I have a limited amount of figures to get each year so it's really a pain.

I've never picked up any masterpieces, and while I certainly wouldn't start with him, I was wondering, how do they hold up as 'action figures'? I certainly wouldn't be playing with it, but how do they hold up to being fiddled with, and transformed a lot?

Poseable, almost 100% except UM hwo can't twist his waist.

I meant quality wise, I've heard some don't stand up to handling, like starscream (2nd version, chest assembly)

Sabrblade wrote:I think I figured out a solution that could have made this figure look better. Perhaps if they made the sled a part of his altmode like on the G1/Timelines toy instead of as a completely separate piece, that might have freed up a lot of the main figure's excess mass to not make him need to look so fat and chunky. The sled could have even taken the wheels away from the main figure.
