He found this set of four legion class figures at Toysrus for ¥3,499 (which is 29$ US for all four and 7.25$ US each which is the SAME price the Hasbro counterparts sell for in the west). This set includes the Takara versions of Robots in Disguise legion class Optimus, Underbite, Grimlock and Steeljaw.
What is most bizarre though is that at first it seemed like you had to stick those app stickers yourself. There are molded indents on the figures and the faction symbols are found on a separate sheet.
This is what Matt has to say:While each figure clearly has a space for a faction symbol sticker, they are not stickers at all. The faction symbols are printed on the paper and meant to be scanned individually. The instructions also say nothing about stickers. Guess you gotta get your own?

Curiouser and curiouser. In any case, enjoy the photos Matt sent us!
Trying to appeal to the people that hate the "poker chips" as they call them, who pull them off of the figures they buy? Still seems weird that they wouldn't be a sticker for others that don't mind to apply.
