The way Takara always poses the Fusion Cannon looks good but also a little misleading; people who aren't familiar with this mold might not know about the tank barrel sticking out of the cannon.

I have this on pre-order, hope it's a good figure! I'm still a little hesitant about this toy (the deco is fine.)

I roll mine around backwards like that. I just like it better.

Combiner Hunters is a one-shot issue post-Combiner Wars. It will feature the fan-built combiner and has Arcee, Windblade, and Chromia sporting different color schemes.

I have seen Leader Megs of both versions just sitting around at retail here in Omaha. Although I haven't been out looking the last two weeks. I think this just isn't the season for big high dollar toys around here.

It's the still-very-G1 chest that I don't like. And the solid orange horns.

I was disappointed by the horns, especially since he has a different head deco on the back of the box.

I see. Your probably right. For me, I just can't justify both. Plus I just really like my OG Armada Megs. (although I agree with your previous statement about the side canon.)

I still don't see that big a difference between the two. The red paneling on the forearms, the two buttons on the chest... It's subtle. And to some people that really makes a difference. For me, not so much. I'm fine with the Hasbro version.

It is indeed quiet hard to find the difference if you are not really looking for one. Unless your monitor is super HD, uploaded images don't always show/reflect what a product actually looks like in reality. Using the same logic with Tomy Sandstorm over the Hasbro version. In pictures, the Tomy version look too much orange when in hand it was not.

I've only seen 1 CW Leader Megatron (G1) in the flesh. And I bought it.

Hordes of Armada Megatrons though. I see those all the time.

Having CW Leader Megatron (G1) HASBRO version, I don't feel the need to get the Takara one. Especially since my Megs is all pinped up with Reprolabels! For me, he's the ULTIMATE Megatron! Enough so that I wanna get rid of my Hegemon.

I noticed right away. It matters to me, so it's really no one's place to say the differences are insignificant if I find them to be so.

Gosh. The more I see Leader Megs, the more I want it...

Not enough to buy the "Armada" version though. No one seems to be going for that one. I bet if they just replaced the silly Armada head with the G1 head, then the Armada deco would start selling.
