I know they're the same mould, but Megatorm didn't have G2 in his identification, because he was Beast Wars (neo or II, I forget which). His titan master being Megastorm is a good idea, but it's takara so it's the japanese way of doing headmasters. Meaning it's Megatron.
Which means in the manga, after Megatron lost his Galvatron transtector, he'll replace it with a G2 Megatron transtector!

Less. In Japanese continuity the real robot is the head, so I like the idea of an alternative dimension where Perceptor's consciousness remained in the "Nijika" puppet and ultimately developed the ability to "head on!"
I'm curious to see it either way, the Hasbro edition looks kind of bland.

I'm sort of excited for the G2 Megatron. If it is the purple guy, I will strongly contemplate it. I loved those colors on Megs, and I could name him Archforce instead, so I can deal with having Megatron and a purple Megatron that is not a T-Rex in the same shelf.
I'll stick with the hasbro Windblade, since I haven't gotten any of the targetmasters, a bit too much money wise for me (but any MP with a targetmaster is high on my list!)
