Come to think of it, how will this be handled in the Legends comic if they don't change the Titan Master? It'll be curious to see why Megatron suddenly gets a G2 Transtector and why he now looks like Blitzwing. In both Headmaster and Transtector forms.

Megatron did lose his Galvatron Transtector when Trypticon destroyed it.

I image they'll just make a new Megatron head to differentiate from Blitzwing, at least the bot mode. It's one thing for the Transtectors to be similar, but for the little guys to be the same as well would be strange.

Wonder how they'll do the jet mode.

If they're doing the more likely purple version then there's really only one way to do the jet:


Sure, he'd look more like Starscream, but a black and purple jet (that turns into a tank already) to go with a purple and black tank mode would be a great combination.

I'd prefer the green/camo but I could totally see the black/purple on the Blitzwing mold.

Assuming it's the Blitzwing mold and not much changing being more repaint than retool, and not counting Broadcast/Soundwave and Wipe/Convobat (since it's LG-EX), this looks like the first time we'll get a repaint within the the Legends line.

There's been multiple other examples within the Legends line, including Armada Starscream Super Mode.

Even then, this isn't a straight repaint -- Megatron has changes to Blitzwing that aren't just the faceplate; ie the weapons and chestplate. So this is arguably even more different than Nightbird and Slipstream.

In the background of this image, G2 Megatron is visible, colored in his purple Hero deco.

And Windblade's heel and wing are visible too, showing her VTOL fans painted white.

Good eye. Though I don't spot Windblade. Who's that right above Jetfire's head? Looks like CW Optimus combined.

And if G2 Megs is purple, while I'm interested to see it, I have no desire for it as I have no connection to the purple one. Looks like a new shoulder cannon. That thing is way bigger and longer than if you use the one that comes with the hasbro Megs. Although it's pointing down so could be the combined gun mounted on his hsoulder? We'll see.

Ah, I see a skinny foot. Guess that's it. Don't see her turbine. Though I'm happy with the generations one so I doubt I'd get her. Unless I put a new head on her. But then I'd go hasbro anyway.

Can't wait to see what these guys actually look like. I'm guessing Megatron will come with fangrys Titan master vehicle. I predict the final wave of legends to consist of seaspray with alpha trions (or ptero) head, Topspin with pteros vehicle, twintwist with Liones and finally frenzy with fangrys head.

I also think there will be 2 exclusive head sets. One containing the 6 Autobot master warriors, the other with the Hasbro versions of weirdwolf, skullcruncher, mindwipe and highbrow plus quake and Krok.

Thanks to twitter user フィギュア・プラモ情報＠fig速‏, we have for you a few images of upcoming Takara toys! And from the Legends line, we have the set of the two Decepticon Clones Pounce and Wingspan as based on their Titans Return legends-class figures, Windblade... and G2 Megatron! Redecoed from the Titans Return Voyager Megatron; he is now confirmed to be in his G2 Archforce colourisation of purple and blue rather than his more familiar green form, and appears to come with a redeco of the Titan Master Fangry figure. Take a look at the small images below and be sure to keep checking Seibertron for more leaks and news on these figures!

Very nice to see G2 Megs has a fully black Fusion Cannon. If I got him I'd swap this Fusion Cannon with the standard TR Megatron's Fusion Cannon; putting the Titan Master seat gun or the main Fusion Cannon piece on G2 Megatron's shoulder.
