I thought Tracks already was a female version of Tracks

I don't even mind that it looks like a sleek young anime robot guy character, it's still badass, don't get me wrong. It's just when I saw it (in color) my first impression was "oh, road rage is a young dude in the MP universe. Ok. That's cool."

Of course it's a lady bot. Maybe if it had more color on the arms like the botcon toy (representing the arm stickers) it would look more feminine. (^_-)b

I could tell they changed some shapes, but I wanted to be sure.

Did they give her daintier hands too?

I don't know, I think they femmed up the mold pretty nicely.

Smaller hands.... mayyybee?
I really hope theres an optional faceplate.

You know, if they somehow made the shoulders narrower, it would do wonders in making her look more feminine.

Kind of glad it doesn't look like a barbie like most of you guys seem to want. The red paint job looks terrific, and I love the G1-esque gun, I wish Tracks came with that as well. As far as I'm concerned, TT just got more of my money. Preordered.

Road Rage is so well done. It amazes me how much difference those minor remolds make.

The car structure around her won't allow the Barbie-esque proportions. But the mere fact Tomy did a bit of re-molding on her?

Gotta give TT points for going the extra mile with the remolded biceps and thighs. They could have just stuck a new head on her and called it a day. Frankly, given that Tracks already has a reasonably lithe silhouette, I guess Road Rage looks pretty convincing as a "macho chick" working as a senator's bodyguard(?). Kind of like Ronda Rousey in The Expendables 3.

Strange that they went with TFCC's Animated comic Road Rage rather than the e-Hobby or BotCon versions.



No other Road Rage has those white legs and hands, the red spot on her head, or that shade of blue. Odd source of inspiration, no way it's coincidence, Greg and Tent should get design credits.

Fembots are scarce. It would be nice when we get one that it'd be recognizable, whether it's Strika's build or Blackarachnia's.

Considering I was a fan back when the only would-be fembots around were Pathfinder and Crasher from the GoBots, I'm well aware of that fact. This female MP character is a golden cupcake compared to what Hasbro or Takara offered for the better part of 30 years.

Are you kidding me? The only thing feminine about Strika is her voice. And "babushka?" That's like a grandma in Russian. Maybe you're referencing "ushanka" instead, tovarish.

and Strongarm does as well with her lips and sculpted chest plate. This looks like a guy, point blank. I already have 100's of male figures... don't need my fembots looking like males as well

Strongarm, I agree with. But I don't see this bot as a dude. Again, Strika is practically Arnold Schwarzenegger with skinny legs and a chick's voice.

Toys' lips can be really tricky to sculpt right, even if we're not talking robots. I recall the first Marvel Legends Scarlet Witch had a similar problem and had to be redone. As for this new Leiji...that's the official face, so (sigh) 3rd Parties, it's been headballed into your court. Knock it out of the park.

This made me LOL. I definitely see and agree with your point of view on this aspect; bot-lips can make or break a figure's appeal for me. It's the primary reason I didn't buy MP Sideswipe, and have held back on a number of 3rd party figures.

Good rehash of the difference, I think its a great figure. My only real gripe are the wings, they stand out too much. White wings would look better.
